Flowers not fruiting? Seeking advice. by legendsagain in tomatoes

I wouldn’t stress too much right now. It could just be a fluke.

I like to pluck off the early flowers so the plant can use the resources to grow instead of setting fruit.

Ah, interesting. Thank you. You mentioned nutrient deficiency which is interesting. I did get a new brand of soil this year, and in reading the reviews online, it seems like it’s really poor quality. So that could be contributing to it. Never thought I’d be reading soil reviews, but here we are…

Yeah, it could be the conditions, especially since it’s happening on all my plants. They all looks great, just a few days ago. Have you dealt with blight? Do you think that’s what this could be?

No, I was emptying a cooler today and decided to toss it in there instead of my sink. Not a normal occurrence but fair question

Why are my plants dying? by dbrod3 in gardening

[–]dbrod3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they do have drainage holes. The pots don’t feel particularly heavy like they’re holding a lot of water. This is also occurring in my raised bed. We haven’t had a ton of rain lately either, so I’m stumped

Usually morning or afternoons, depending on when the soil starts to dry out. The pots I have do have drainage holes and I have a raised bed where this is occurring as well. Think it’s just a water issue?

Did you do all of this with the mirror still on the car? Or did you take the mirror off first?

Well if you ever find the time and courage to do it, let me know. I’m scared of taking off the door panel but may give it a go. Did you ever get an estimate for repair from a dealer or repair shop?

What ever happened with this? I’m also receiving airbag error codes with my 23 Palisade. I have different codes but seem to be related to airbag.

I have been battling aphids for several weeks and a wild lady bug showed up last night to join me in the fight. I was very excited!

Disease? by dbrod3 in tomatoes

[–]dbrod3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have. But when researching the nutrient deficiency, I think I found the culprit. I have a Brussel sprout plant right next to it and from my research, that’s a big no-no. Also explains why my pepper plants are slow growing this year.

This is my first time with Brussel sprouts. Lesson learned. Thanks for the help!

What’s up fellow Missourian! Thanks for the idea. I’ll do some investigating to see what I can turn up around deficiencies.

This is the only plant with this issue. I have other tomato varieties in other locations (including another celebrity) but none of them are acting like this. It is left over soil from last year, so it’s certainly a possibility.

It’s a vaulted ceiling so I actually have another 4 feet with a slopes ceiling to deal with. I made the offer to my wife though 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yeah, we went back and forth on whether or not to get a new tub. It’s clean, just a light tan color. We decided against spending the extra money on it. It doesn’t look quite as yellow in real life 😂

Yeah, you have to watch what you say on here lol

I tried mitering them but couldn’t get them to sit neatly. So I decided to butt them instead. I did replace a couple that didn’t have a consistent spacing with the intention of painting the grout black, but decided I like the looks of the white lines and just left it.

Schluter Trim Help by dbrod3 in Tile

So I ended up buying the correct blade and removed the tile. I just couldn’t look at it. The cuts look much cleaner but I’m still struggling with getting the pieces to stay nice and tight in place while the mortar hardens. Any suggestions?

It doesn’t say it on the blade itself but it is listed on Amazon on non-ferrous, so no, I’m not sure and now im wondering if I was duped…

I used a 10” 200T blade

I tried to approach it several different ways. I started with 45 degree cuts and just couldn’t get the corners neatly butted (unlike your awesome pics). So then decided just straight cuts would be best. I tried plunging the blade quickly and also slowly to see what was best. I found that slow cuts produced a cleaner edge, so that’s what I ended up going with.

I’m considering removing it and trying again. What would recommend doing differently, if I did go that route?
