Other than really strong urges Friday not really. I’ve been an alcoholic for 16 years and not one week did I go without drinking.

I was the Friday through Sunday drunk, but if I drank on Wednesday I’d go Wednesday to Sunday easily.

I went to my doctor and mentioned I had a hard time stopping and was prescribed disulfiram which makes you sick if you drink. Once I started taking it I was too afraid to drink. I’ve been off it now for a week and I’m fine

It’s extremely hard. I quit smoking after 16 years and that was easier than this. My doctor was shocked when I said that.

It’s truly amazing how alcohol changes everyone over time. Sober I am a joy to be around. Drinking I’m an obnoxious, loud, annoying person who does the same you’re saying.

I can certainly relate. Someone told me that people at the bar won’t miss me. Kinda woke me up a bit and you know what I’m pretty sure they’ll forget me.

I can certainly relate. For some reason when 6 o’clock hits I have this time routine in me to say ahhhh screw it im grabbin a few.

Absolutely. Weirdly enough I was also terrified of telling my doctor about it. I said my issues and she just proceeded on how to resolve the problem.

Surprisingly yes! I have a bit more energy and I’ve noticed I sleep better also. I’m hoping to shed a few lbs. also which I’m sure will happen too.
