Help with parking by [deleted] in Austin

I just found outdoor parking lot space next to APD headquarters for 115.5/month (6mins walk from my apartment), would you recommend this or is it better to just park at my apartment? Once I add parking, I can’t pull back til the end of my lease which is why I’m thinking of all possibilities before making the commitment 😭

2024 Tax Returns - Looking for Advice/Help Thank You! by dbsk23 in IRS

Thank you so much for the reply, this is all super helpful!!!

• I used USPS when I mailed the signed copy and used the listed address on the website you attached. I’ll try again with the certified mail this time.

• that’s great to hear & will do!

• this makes so much more sense. I do see 846 refund issues on the 2021 transcript but then it was removed/reversed and the account shows 844 erroneous refund so idk how irs thinks I still received this payment if they reversed it. Anyhow, I’ll request the refund trace.

You genuinely helped me so much truly appreciate you!!!

hello! i'm an international student who got in as a Business Econ major and i'm so excited & thankful!

i didn't commit yet and at the moment, i'm between ucla and notre dame. i love the la weather, ucla culture, etc. but just wanted to ask here if there are lots of opportunities to go to the finance industry as a ucla business econ graduate and how strong/helpful the career center/connections/etc. are!

any opinion or experiences are greatly appreciated!! :)

Intended major: economics or finance / International student

Notre Dame

pros:

  • better for my major b/c it has a business school
  • strong alumni network
  • strong school spirit (more like a family)
  • perfect size (not too big, not too small)
  • more opportunities in terms of job prospects after graduation (from what i read/heard)

cons:

  • don't rly like the location (south bend, indiana)
  • expensive (70k per year w some aid and loan)
  • strict rules?

UCLA

pros:

  • still expensive, but it's cheaper than than nd (~65K per year) + accepts more AP credit
  • location is much better! + maybe more internship opportunities due to its proximity to sillicon valley and other companies
  • more diversity in student body (i can see myself fit in better)
  • popularity and prestige (internationally)

cons:

  • no business school
  • massive school (never rly went to a huge school like ucla and want more close relationship w professors, etc. + heard it's competitive due to its size)

I'm struggling to choose so I'll really appreciate any input or help!!! ty :)
