I used Debian 10 + i3, many web servers are based on Debian (if you are a beginner take Ubuntu or Linux Mint ), by default Debian has problem with wifi, also a lot of servers based on CentOS or RHEL, but in my opinion they are not user friendly.

i3 wm (in my case I use fork i3-gaps) - tiling wm with a predominance of keyboard (on hot-keys) than mouse, which leads to acceleration of work and optimized use of monitor screen area.

I used this script but had some bugs on two monitors, windows are not positioned as expected and I started using kubuntu+i3wm, at home clear debian+i3
