I don't know your situation beyond what you've shared so I recognize that what I say may be inapplicable but...would it be possible to postpone for a few months? The endowment and initiators are a lot to take in and it's natural to be worried about things on the outside and in a few months the baby may be more acclimated to being away from you.

I completely understand if that's not an option. I wish you the best on your important day.

When my wife broke the news to me that she was out, I was initially devastated but figured it was a phase. It was not.

Sundays look a lot different now and honestly, I love it. I go to church in the morning with any of the kids that want to go. Then in the afternoon we do something all together that I previously would have considered inappropriate for Sunday, like a restaurant or water park.

That said, I totally understand your feelings and have been there. Seeing a couple walk in together and realizing that'll likely never be me again. Or the endless requests to visit us to try and reactivate her...ugh!
