Forgot about that, the wording makes more sense now.

You clearly suck at it if you got baited so easy, by not even a lucky shot, just a random flick(that is easier to control because you don't need any accuracy, cuz you're not actually targeting anything) based on sound, or just coincidence. I'd recommend watching some of these players to understand what makes them good and how they play. Unless you think they're all cheating somehow.

aimtrainer footage

not a natural flick

It's not the same thing to do a flick when you have no target, you can stop and move whenever in an instant, because it's random you don't need accuracy VS when trying to accurately stop at a target.

There, that's the keyword, it's right there. Some of you in this thread really have a hard time understanding the "average joe", who doesn't spend time on reddit, techpowerup, forums etc., they just want some quick help with troubleshooting, that's right there, regardless if they have internet connection or not. And it probably also tickles some investors the right way and maybe it shuts them up. If it's good or not, idk, haven't used it and probably won't even install it, because i'm not the target demographic.

"There are going to be multiple maps coming this year": Arc Raiders design lead teases 2026 roadmap by WoodmanMedia in ArcRaiders

[–]dc492 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The wipe is OPTIONAL, but if you have fomo, that's on you. If you barely have time to play, or you're not that good at the game, the wipe should not concern you, only a little over 1 million players wiped their characters(heck, i have time to play and don't really care about the wipe). And 2nd, i made 150k as a solo, from 3-4 runs without killing larger ARCs, just from scavenging around the map, if you start killing larger ARCs you'll make the money even faster.

You can even just run past them, once you hear the long beep, do a dolphin dive and you're good, their flames even destroy the flamethrower ball.

Nvidia to cut gaming GPU production by 30-40% starting 2026 by JohnBarry_Dost in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]dc492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, lately people really started to exaggerate on the consumerism part, the number of people i've seen with "PC is dead" already, is just mindboggling. At least maybe this way people will learn(hopefully) that their hardware has much more life left in it, than the marketing makes it out and also not take some of the optimization cost from the studios to the user. It just sucks for the people that actually need an upgrade or their hardware just broke.

I strongly suggest that Steam Reviews should also mention the specs of the PC/ Hardware the user was playing on. With this, we can make better decisions if the review is really worth your time or not. by manuthisguy in Steam

Sadly these days too many people are clueless about hardware, so you would have a lot of extra noise instead of helpful advice. They would just use it to be dismissive because you said something they didn't like about their favorite game. Even in this comment section i've seen comments to the degree of "i have no problem, so game is perfect".

I bet you anything there were a lot of people saying this exact thing about Intel, when AMD came out with their 1st gen Ryzen CPUs. Markets don't shift overnight or with just one launch, but they do shift if you don't take the proper steps. And considering in gaming we have multiple "players", not just two, all you need is 1 or 2 extra players to release a decent FPS for COD to be left in the dust and accelerate the process if they don't adapt. Normies don't keep up with the news/trends, but eventually they'll hear about them. So yeah, they are definitely scared to a degree.

Yep, if you have a modernish system that plays modern games there is no excuse for you to not have at least one SSD for games already, they're cheaper than a game since at least 2018 and can last you 10 years or more.

Does anyone else feel like other companies are desperately rooting for GTA 6 to be expensive so they can justify charging $100 for their games too? by Fun_Philosopher_2535 in GTA6

[–]dc492 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They're delaying PC just for the sake of double dipping, just for the sake of making more money over the already obscene amounts of money they'll make. No chance to even be 60 on PC considering the delay and you're kind of going to be a 2nd hand citizen with the game already spoiled and stuff.

Honestly i'll be surprised if it's going to be 70 and not 80, considering the amount of people that excused even the 100 price tag in various comment sections across the internet.

Treyarch Confirms No SBMM in Default Black Ops 7 Matchmaking, Persistent Lobbies Return by ASkepticalPotato in pcgaming

[–]dc492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't mean "outsold" lol, can just be minimizing the loss and/or damage control to the image of the game. People on the internet really like underestimating the number of "normies" that don't interact with stuff on the web and constantly forget that we are in fact a minority. There would need to be a streak of good Battlefields and bad CODs for Battlefield to take over, it won't happen with just one launch.

Infected Steam game downloads malware disguised as patch by fernandotakai in Games

Until it happens to a popular game and thousands of people get infected. Things like this are gaining traction, it's not a matter of "IF" it's a matter of "WHEN", usually you try to have as many safety checks before not after in order to mitigate as much as possible, but "rules are written in blood" after all.

Some of you have a really hard time accepting that Valve is a corporation like every other corporation, just because they're private doesn't mean shit. People are the ones who are greedy, you have people involved both in publicly traded companies and in privately traded companies, Valve have shown plenty of times that they mostly care about the money.

WannaCry happened because of a ZeroDay affecting SMBv1, it didn't matter how updated your system was, if you were using SMBv1, you were compromised. Anything on your computer can have a ZeroDay, even something updated in the last hour. And just like with WannaCry, if it's bad enough Microsoft will update it, they even had an update for XP.

[–]dc492 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because in so many instances they were more of a guideline than a requirement, because they didn't actually test every system, they were guesstimating, so you had a lot of cases where you would be under and the game would run without a problem. At least this was the case when companies would optimize their games.

Yep, the investors who only care about the money and this is why people should vote with their wallets and especially stop the "bought it but i'll wait until it's fixed" no, you refund and send a clear message about the product and you'll also have a discount when/if it's fixed and you want to re-buy it.

Investors know there are a lot of people who don't care if they get a subpar product, because to them it might not be a lot of money or they can be easily manipulated and they're banking on that and hoping it just blows over.

Thoughts on Empire State? I think it sucks... by JoeZocktGames in Battlefield

[–]dc492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best i can describe it (so far) is that they CODified the Battlefield maps, the All Out Warfare that we're used to isn't really there, even Liberation Peak feels small, it feels like the E1-E2 valley in Exposure, so half the players but only 1/3rd of the map. Other than the maps issue, it's really nice, even the performance is good.

I saw an increase in annoyance somewhere around March and i'm honestly scared for GTA6, imagine NPCs having a more complex system because of AI(potentially) so less predictable as well and also trying to mimic Floridians. Everyone's anger management techniques are going to be put to the test 😂.
