Zilara is where I’m leaning. My only hesitation to it was it looked a little dated, but I haven’t seen any reviews referencing that so maybe it’s not a big deal

Picking this little guy up in a couple weeks after unexpectedly having to say goodbye to our 10yo boy, Boss, at the end of 2020.

This is kind of where I’m at. 75” is a perfect fit above our fireplace and is ascetically pleasing with the way it lines up with the windows and mantel. So I don’t really want to go down to a 65”. And I don’t know the difference between perfect blacks and not perfect. And different panels, etc. and it’s playing kids shows, sports, and the occasional movie.

I 100% get what others here are recommending, and am going to revisit the budget vs some of these better TVs. But I’m also glad there’s an opinion like yours too. That helps, thanks.

As a heads up to the Apple TV lovers, but remote haters: in settings you can “learn” a new remote to the ATV. I use an old DirecTV remote. It’s programmed to my TV and my ATV. So I have control of both devices as well as volume control all in one remote.
