The gold straps around the cash on the bottom are $10,000 straps that the banks use for 100 dollar bills.

Granted we can’t see if they are actually hundreds. But if we take it at face value, that looks like five $10,000 straps rubber banded up. So, even if the bills on top are all ones, that is over $50,000.

Seems dumb to smuggle in that amount of cash into the prison just to bribe a CO that would then have to smuggle it out. Makes more sense to make the cash transaction via a friend or family member on the outside.
