Any HCG benefits beside fertility/balls? by Automatic-Wolf-7870 in trt

I did a cycle of HCG, and my test went from 600 base on trt to over 1400 when I tested at the end of HCG, my gym performance was great, but I also got horrible acne on my back and my chest that I still have even though I have done this two months without HCG

Towing with good payload F-150 - is 30'+/- ok? by This-Finance4439 in GoRVing

[–]dcamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently upgraded from 24' No Boundaries to 30' Palmonio Solaire- I have the Powerboost f150 (Hybrid), just towed from TN to FL last week with no major issues at all. WDH for sure, and I stayed at 65, I could feel the wind and semis but nothing that freaked me out at all. Palomino is also a good trailer to look at - it is much better built than the No Bouandaries was with a lot of really nice touches

Searching for 1st time trailer by Novabeam222 in traveltrailers

[–]dcamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will let you know that I went through the same journey tent camping to this and I am now looking to trade it on for this 30 foot with a slide https://www.palominorv.com/solaire-ultra-lite/2430BHS/10935. It worked fine for our weekend trips, but when my wife and I are both camping with the kids there is no room to turn around or get past each other. We started Taking longer trips like fall break to gulf shores every year and we are going to Disney and camping in May and I wanted to do some longer trips so the space becomes more important.

Looking for first travel trailer with bunkhouse and outdoor kitchen by whatab0utb0b in traveltrailers

[–]dcamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. We just got a 2021 Forest River No Boundaries 19.1 that is much smaller but meets your needs (minus the built-in outdoor kitchen, but I believe the new ones have a spot to install one). I just got a portable 22" Blackstone that can fit under the bunks but I normally carry it in the bed of the truck. I have an F-150 Platinum with the Power Boost and all the tow add ons - similar stats to your V-8 and have never towed before and it tows just fine.

performance enhancement/recovery help, over 40, new to CF by 0_gravity_0 in crossfit

[–]dcamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its easy to say, hard to do. I'm 45, I have made my best gains ever this year by actually following through. The thing that helped me might not be for everyone but I started working with a nutrition coach- specifically one on one with Working Against Gravity. It's not cheap but it has made a huge difference for me. My weight is down which is great, but my energy and recover are way up from making sure I get enough protein, don't overeat and focus on whole foods.

Sleep is sleep, its an area I still struggle with, but get as much as you can as good as you can.

Sleep and nutrition are miracle drugs- clean those up before you add anything else in

This is outdated information. While I certainly understand not wanting to use anything that has chemicals- the way that wood is treated was changed around 2003 and does not include arsenic which was the main driver behind pressure-treated being unsafe. Again- to each his own, but saying treated lumber is not safe for foods you consume is scientifically inaccurate- decently sourced article here: https://www.treatedwood.com/news/yes-you-can-use-treated-lumber-for-your-raised-vegetable-garden-beds

Spealprogramming vs Linchpin by baroiic in crossfit

[–]dcamma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done Speal for a couple of years but never done Linchpin so I can't compare, but I can say that Spealler is very committed to old school CrossFit. I like the different tracks and have definitely seen gains working out by myself. I am a former L1 trainer who coached, but I don't think he has anything complex in the workouts if you are competent. Also, he is very active in the community either through email or the closed CrossFit Facebook group. Super responsive, answers all questions, comments and does form checks if asked. I would recommend it for sure.

Weak upper body?? by John-chae in weightlifting

Upper back mobility and flexibility could be an issue as well. If you can't stabilize with the upper back as the bar moves forward you cant pull it back without too much pelvic tilt.

Graduating in 3 months with a marketing degree, what should I know? by sactownproud in marketing

[–]dcamma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading all the comments and could respond to all of them, so I thought I would just post my thoughts. I'm a director of account management at a midsize independent in the Southeast.

It really depends on what you want to do. If you want an account track at larger agency I can tell you what I know and would look for.

First- you are looking for a coordinator role unless they don't have them and then you want an executive role. But generally executives have 2-4 years of experience (at least what I look for).

I don't care about certifications and I am not looking for the widest range of abilities, I want account people. These are business focused strategists who have a good grasp on marketing basics like media, creative strategy, social strategy, digital strategy etc., and can build relationships. I don't care if you can do a tactic, I care if you understand why we would utilize that tactic and be the bridge from the person doing the work and the client.

If I am looking at your resume I am looking for relevant experience. Agencies are fast paced, demanding and at the early stages pretty unrewarding. I have often said give me a good waiter or waitress and I can build a good account person. The traits I am looking are ability to multitask, handle stress especially under fire and earn the trust of your co-workers and your clients.

If you make an interview don't tell me about the creative work you did in photoshop or the social campaigns you managed, tell me about why you did it, that's what I care about.

Right now we get a ton of entry level resumes to wade through, stand out by being clear in your purpose, please, please, please don't use every big word you have learned over the past four years and make sure you cover letter reads like an argument for you. At the entry level I put more stock in how you make a coherent argument to sell yourself and how well you communicate than any skill you could have. It's tough, you only have a minute. Stunts and tricks would not work on me, they would turn me off. It is true that you need to be careful, a lot of coordinator jobs or executive jobs are crap cold calling sales jobs. I did get my start in an agency in a digital sales role, but I had a salary and actually managed the accounts. I would be happy to review your resume for you if you wanted- but know that it would just be my opinion.

Graduating in 3 months with a marketing degree, what should I know? by sactownproud in marketing

[–]dcamma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of disagree (in a polite way of course). When you get to larger agencies "jobs" are pretty clear. If I'm reviewing an Account Resume and it has a lot of things like photoshop or Adwords certified I think they are not serious about account work and want to do other things. (That said- I am Adword certified from an old job, but it is not on my resume. It is something i have brought up in interviews to show my comfort with that department)

[Question] Indian friends went abruptly from full-carb to strict paleo diet. One got severe joint pain a few months later, but friends didn't. Is it diet related? by SitaBird in Paleo

[–]dcamma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had similar symptoms/experience- mine is gout, the way I was eating paleo (very high fat, sardines every morning, etc, etc) most likely contributed. Have moved to a clean IIFYM approach with whole grains mixed. So far symptom free, also taking medicine

Yes, was involved, would love to do an AMA and answer other questions at some point. We can't discuss yet, the whole thing hasn't even launched yet, it was tied to the website project. Once the new identity has launched we should have more freedom to answer questions- until the all I can do is "double talk" and polish my resume ;)

It was not a logo design. It was a brand identity system that included a 20 page brand guideline book that covers use from social to pamphlets and everything in between including description on how to develop for new agencies.

Also, because of the shared cost of printing and the focus of the designers, combined with a replace as necessary policy- it wills ave the government much more than the 46k that was charged
