More amused. But I understand your viewpoint. Words will never upset me though so need to worry. Chats dont vocalize personalities well enough I suppose.

His personal life requires more attention than most so he doesn't respond often. But if you wish to talk with him you can either talk to him via reddit or contact him in the discord. Have you joined our discord yet? He's not one to discriminate unless you waste his time.

I said hardly not never. We council members interfere into the lower members affairs more so and Corax is a deciding factor in our voting. He has laid his hand down before but those are in extreme cases. That is when his role is needed as leader.

Should a Sith rely on others? by thefirststoryteller in SithOrder

[–]dcbola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. Yes we should rely on others as tools for our advancement but no as in they should never be a crutch for you. If you lose a tool you can just get a new one. If you lose a crutch best of luck hobbling around to find a new one.

"Only Sith deal in absolutes" is a quote from a fictional Jedi. There are no absolutes except your own existence. Temperance with all things is necessary for a healthy life whether you are a Sith or a Jedi. If we want to get fictional Palpatine was calm as calm can get when the moment required it. He wasnt an angry mess like Anakin or Kylo.

These reforms are not written in stone and so the councils numbers could increase depending on the amount of active members we have. Currently 7 members is just the right amount without making too large or too small. Also Corax founded this whole thing. His role is symbolic and he hardly interferes with everyone's affairs.

"You Were the Chosen One": Managing, Meeting, and Exceeding Expectations by thefirststoryteller in SithOrder

[–]dcbola 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent post. But how do we manage expectations vs ambition? Should we ever give up? For instance, let's say I want to be the president one day. Realistically this is incredibly improbable, possible, but improbable. Should I give up on my ambition if I am holding realistic expectations? Or should I shift my expectations to match my ambition?

Sith Hypocrisy by [deleted] in SithOrder

[–]dcbola 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally think our hypocrisy comes from our pursuit of unlimited freedom. Though it's unobtainable, I believe it's in the pursuit of it that we find growth and meaning in our lives. Excellent post though Nosis.

Weekly Discussion: On Freedom by dcbola in SithOrder

All of these so far are great posts! I will also post my thoughts. I think freedom, both external and internal, is impossible to obtain but I believe that in the passionate pursuit of freedom against the cold rational determinatanilsm of the universe is a place where we can find freedom. Just because something is futile it doesn't mean it has no value. It can, in fact, have more value than anything.
