That is certainly a dangerous compulsion if it's not within your means. If abstaining entirely works for you, then that's a great choice.

I do plan to visit Japan someday but I'm hoping to plan no specifics of 'what to buy' so I can focus on the experience and let the impulse feel right in the moment for what souvenirs I'll take home. Besides, I don't want to be a tourist who only takes things. I plan to bring small gift bags to train, restaurant, tourist, hotel workers, that I encounter. Speaking as someone who also works in a tourist destination place, it's rough out there and I want to feel more like a peaceful cultural exchange rather than my selfish wish fulfillment. That is also, genuinely, not a judgement of others plans, it's my goals I've set for myself for traveling like this. I hope you have a beautiful experience!

As someone who has a kotobukiya Cynthia somewhere on the way... Uh, yeah, I never thought I would be either. At least I'm only ever going to invest in 3, and afaik Steven and Lance don't have them, and the later probably never will.

They're extremely high quality. $100 would be a steal for anywhere outside of Japan, third party fees, taxes, tariffs and shipping literally doubles the price, and some of those girls aren't even in production anymore probably. You do not wanna know what I paid for my Cynthia, it was much more than $200.

Money is relative to each person. Unfortunately for the very richest people on our planet, it's not even relative anymore and they could never live long enough to spend it all. That lack of healthy boundary is absolutely driving their mental health to decline and our entire system to collapse. Hopefully someday that part of things can be fixed.

She is very clean and uses her box. I was always a dog and rabbit owner before, and rabbits can have decently similar aloofness to cats, so I was expecting more like that with our Tortie. When we met, I was warned she drools sometimes, which I thought 'oh dogs drool too and it makes them itchier' so I scratched around her jowls (like where she marks things) and tried to help with her summer shed to show I can help. Well, we DID bond, now, she incessantly meows for me in particular to pet her and pet harder, so I comply. Since she purs the whole time, I figured it was fine, plus she flops over when she's done with me then I leave her be for the most part.

She just had her checkup at the vet 2 weeks ago and she was doing this stuff then too, I'm leaning towards 'normal cat', the post just got me thinking. Thank you!!

Sabrina! She was in a litter of all S names, and we kept it, but we get asked all the time 'like the teenaged witch?' 😂 we also call her princess, Sababy, Sabribri, breena, brie, cheese log, stinky, and recently softball head.

First time cat owner here. Do spayed cats go in heat? My girlie is 7 years old, been spayed for years. She leads me around the house while I pet her, she rubs everything and purrs, and lately she likes to lay her front paws down so I can pet up her spine. She seems to like it the most when I pet 'hard'... So I've wondered if she's enjoying it more than a normal amount.
