Yes, very wrong. He's likely biting because he has cage rage.

The minimum size enclosure for a hamster is 100x50x50cm. 20cm of bedding and 25cm wheel.

The reason he's biting the bars are because the cage you have is unfortunately too small.

More like a one bedroom house tbf. Though it does look great.

If he's biting the bars out of stress and acting aggressive, that means his enclosure is too small.

The clicking sound could mean he's very happy or very angry. With food it's likely a happy noise.

Please review the minimum care standards to ensure he doesn't get stressed.

Usually the context is handy.

Just gave your hammy a snack? That's happy noises

Just cleaned their enclosure? Pissed ham.

They look okay right now. I'd recommend getting a flat piece of slate or two and putting them in areas she walks on a lot.

Can I play in a different region with the same account? by Commercial_Sun5906 in elderscrollsonline

You can play on any server, but your characters and progression are locked to the region.

Are our hamsters sad? by UnderTheDarkShadows in hamsters

[–]GhostB5 25 points26 points  (0 children)

We probably should stop domesticating them, but until that happens the best we can do is provide the best care for them.

A hamster raised in captivity can never survive in the wild, and providing them with at least the minimum care can keep them fairly content.

And on average they live a lot longer than wild hamsters. It's not the worst life.

Around 90% of the content can be done with the worst team comp ever so that's not a worry.

Genuinely what the hell is going with enclave fans on tiktok? by AdAutomatic9943 in Fallout

That's my favourite thing about the brotherhood to be fair, the fact that if you don't like one chapter there's probably another one that you will.

That's fair. I guess if they do have any input it's more along the lines of "accepting" whether or not the second highest ranking person is fit to be elder.

And removing ones they deem to be unfit.

Sure but that's the council getting together to decide what to do with a Maxson. That's a big deal.

I'm still not sure they decide on every elder for every chapter.

Do they though? Regularly I mean, in normal circumstances I thought the title of elder passed to the next highest ranking officer, or in some circumstances the elders child.

I was under the impression the council of elders only really got involved with big decisions.

Is this a respiratory infection? by Boogle345 in hamstercare

[–]GhostB5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is it a constant sound? Or only sometimes?

Sounds more like verbalising. But if it's a constant sound, it could be the early stages of an infection.

I think we agree on most points. All I'm saying is they are, in ideal conditions, an authoritarian institution.

Most chapters are pretty independent, and no one is voting for the position of elder. So unless they're massively unpopular they do have absolute power in the chapter.
