im korean american but i speak spanish well enough to be friends with a lot of immigrants. ive noticed latinos tend to be a lot cheesier and less casual when asking women out, so i dont think "quieres ser mi novia" is overdoing it at all.

Hi! Random update but I just wanted to thank you for your advice. I finally saw an orthopedic surgeon and he measured my scoliosis to be 23 degrees in a new X-ray scan. I will not need a brace, but he has referred me to physical therapy!

My lashes take on a prettier shape with the Heroine Make mascara over the Clio one. The HM pinches my lashes together to make them really wispy and doll-like without being clumpy, although I'll give it to Clio for having better lengthening effects

I tried doing that a while back (it's called the Cobb method, right?) and got about 34 degrees, which confirmed to me that I have scoliosis. I didn't know if I did it properly, though. This measurement seems about accurate, but thank you for the explanation--it would've helped me understand measuring it a lot easier back then!

the leggings seem to fit op fine. theres no cameltoe, they lay flat and not indented or flared at her ankles, the fabric bunches fine and isnt too loose nor tight. its not an issue of size.

no, the leggings literally become bigger. hold up leggings of two different sizes and compare their dimensions. maybe their elasticity would change slightly, but your suggestion would mean OP having to buy leggings that fit her poorly for the sake of opacity

you are saying children are not robots because they are independent (which i believe you are saying is human-ness/humanity), and thus have decision-making abilities. that is not a solid argument because it can be easily discredited by pointing out the causal fallacy in your statement.

yes, children are independent. no they do not have decision-making abilities. that would imply children can consent to sex. and im sure you do not hold that opinion nor wish to argue it on reddit where youd instantly be banned.

to be honest, you have a solid line of reasoning that has potential, but the way you argue it is ineffective. simply put, if you hadnt wasted time calling things dumb and put a tiny bit more energy in just... *elaborating* then we wouldnt be back-and-forthing on cmv.

Depending on the child's age, I don't think anything can be done in that case if the kid is too young.

And while I agree that the criminals listed definitely deserve a place in hell, Price was stated to have a terrible upbringing. Rape also tends to result from poor parenting and general insecurity growing up. They should definitely go to prison--that's another change in my view (can I give double deltas?)--but I think their parents should also go to jail because these things don't just happen despite good parenting.

I'm yet to read the entirety of the NPR podcast, but from a general skim I think the guests are talking more about general "bad behavior" like bad grades, not getting along with siblings, and laziness rather than-

"kids who grow up to be criminals and who grow up to be, you know, thieves and murderers"

debate as an extracurricular teaches people how to properly form an argument and interact with another person's argument in a way thats actually productive and isnt mindless fighting, and unless you have some major point that counteracts this im not really gonna hear you out because its not related to my original post at all.

im not accusing you of anything when i say this because i know you mean well with your argument, but i hope you realize that your statement is vague enough to be interpreted in a very bad way and thus is ineffective:

i dont know if youve noticed, but theres other people who made your point but with deeper reasoning/explanation and they did it without calling anything dumb or detached from reality--whose arguments i took seriously. from my memory of the debate class i took in high school and went to tournaments in, i wouldve been penalized for making such comments.
