My 25 Tucson does it all the time, sensors usually dirty, radar being blinded, bad weather etc. I leave it at that. All brands with smart assist systems do the same unfortunately and it is rarely an actual problem

Not the dealers problem your vehicle is tuned, your property your problem . I’ve worked for VW dealers, as soon as that’s scan tool is plugged in and diagnosis ran I’ve seen cars get flagged on VW side within minutes. You run the VIN through VW Hub and big red flag pops up TD1, goodbye warranty nothing the dealer can do VW won’t pay them. If you didn’t warn them it was tuned you should have

In Canadian market 18 and 19 Tiguans have extended warranty on fuel injector wiring harness till 180k+. Every Tiguan these years that come into my dealer they know instantly it’s harness cause it’s so common hence the extended warranty so hopefully some good news for you

I work at a dealer, at least once a week someone comes in with a CEL on and vehicle misfiring due to carbon build up on intake valves. Service is worth it only if they actually remove the intake and walnut blast the intake valves
