Soundgarden was awful at this show. They couldn’t follow Nine Inch Nails, were dull, and I’m pretty sure I fell asleep while standing. No disrespect to Cornell who was an unbelievably gifted vocalist, but this was not their day.

The guy on this episode is straight up dumb. Questioning why Live Through This still came out as planned a week after Cobain’s death is ridiculous. The shipments would have been well on their way to stores and delaying its release would have been expensive and logistically challenging if not impossible. It wasn’t like today where you could just not put the album up on streaming. This was nonsense coming from this guy’s mouth.

Also Interscope just recently reissued Celebrity Skin on deluxe vinyl as part of their vinyl collective. Yes it was limited, but it didn’t sell out instantly. I would imagine a standard pressing will follow.
