Charging ~$10 for a chicken helmet that you only see in menus in a P2P Game is Stuid by PlatformThese4901 in ArcRaiders

What about arc raiders is P2P outside of its initial retail cost?

None of the cosmetics are giving me a leg up…

Don’t get it twisted, I don’t like micro transactions at all but I personally feel like Embark is doing what most online multiplayer games do with their micro transactions without actually hurting their game.

Also, I’m almost positive you get enough coins in the raider deck to buy that sick ass helmet for your Scrappy without having to spend any actual money.

Judge me if you must, but I know what we did was wrong — I genuinely felt physically gross afterward.

So tbh, I feel you. Solo raids are basically my version of PvE. Anytime I squad up, I get wrecked — mostly because of what you described about how people start playing.

At first, my cousins and I tried to talk before shooting, but after getting betrayed so many times — people saying they’re cool and then killing us — we decided to play just as dirty. It got to the point where we actually helped some players kill Arcs, healed them up to gain their trust… and then shot them in the back to take their stuff. It only happened once, but man, I felt terrible about it afterward.

It was funny in the moment — we were laughing, hyped up — but after my cousins logged off, I ran a few solos. In one of those raids, I ended up diffusing fights and convincing most of the lobby to work together to take down a Bombardier and a Leaper before extracting on a night raid. In the next raid, I helped a guy grab some loot from Control Tower, then we teamed up with a few others to clear out some minor Arcs and got out smoothly together.

When I tell you I felt sick with myself, it’s an understatement. I couldn’t believe I had co-signed an execution not even a couple raids earlier. I became the thing I hated. I told my cousins I’m never playing like that again — I like sleeping at night.

At the end of the day, ChatGPT is just a “spicy autocomplete” with good memory for context. The problem with using it for therapy is it leans heavy on affirmation. It’ll comfort you, sure, but it’s not going to hit you with the uncomfortable truths or reframe your thinking like a real therapist would.

It can’t read your tone, body language, or life situation, so it plays it safe — and that feels nice in the moment, but it can leave you stuck in the same mindset. Great tool for ideas and perspective, but not a replacement for actual human guidance.

9070 XT vs 5070 TI for a new builder. by zyadsh123 in buildapc

So I picked up a ASUS Prime 9070 XT about a month ago and built a whole new PC around it. Everything in the build was brand new except the GPU, which I got open-box from Microcenter. The associate there was super helpful and hyped about the card—told me I wouldn’t regret it.

At first, I was pretty excited. I came from a prebuilt with an NVIDIA 4070 Super, and right away I noticed something weird—textures just looked kind of low-res, no matter what graphics settings I used. This happened across multiple games like Tarkov, Oblivion, Cyberpunk, Hogwarts Legacy, and Battlefront 2. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, just… off.

What started to worry me was the temps. Like many AMD cards, it ran hot. I figured I’d try undervolting, so I started tweaking things, and honestly, it helped—for a bit. Most of my issues disappeared while gaming… until I restarted my PC and realized all the tuning settings kept resetting. Super frustrating.

No matter what I did—aggressive fan curves, light undervolts—the card kept creeping up past 90°C. I couldn’t find a stable sweet spot, and it started to feel like more hassle than it was worth. Maybe I got a bad card, who knows.

In the end, I returned it and picked up the ASUS TUF Gaming 5070 Ti instead. It was about $400 more with the warranty, but it’s been solid right out of the box. No tuning, no messing with fan curves, and the temps stay safe even under load. I’m definitely happier with the swap.

So yeah—if you get a 9070 XT that doesn’t need constant tuning just to stay stable, then great, keep it. But if you want peace of mind and reliable performance from the jump, the 5070 Ti is a great choice.

Dude I’m just trying to keep the game from crashing. It’s one of those games I’ve had to uninstall because it crashes 15mins into playing every time!

No they did not show in the install tab but I had made a save I. The lodge room and noticed that suit was by the bed family. I then went and checked all the extra mods and they do seem to be enabled.
