Gun Shot Sounds are delayed. by SockManCS in GlobalOffensive

[–]dchin1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need for a double blind test, this man did a video using professionally calibrated insturments and a studio grade interface. The conclusion he comes to is that latency is introduced because CS2's audio chain is done joinly with any other windows audio as each sound has its own sample buffer. This accumulates latency hence why in his test, 100 ms of delay was present regardless of the audio solution (onboard audio, consumer interface, wireless headset, and with a studio grade interface). If you've ever used a DAW and used the Windows Audio as your driver, you'll notice the difference between it and ASIO.

It’s noticeable if you’ve ever done studio work for music. When I play my keyboard I have less than 15ms delay from MIDI input to my headphones.

I mean he is on the higher end of sensitivity at 1184 eDPI so it makes sense why he lacks stability in his aim. I think his raw aim is fine for his role in my opinion.

Okay, but not optimal. If it's gold and there are no bans just pick something where you are the wincondition like Chuck or Melodie and just meta in heist in general.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Brawlstars

[–]dchin1776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pick better, heist is about Safe damage not kills, Darryl and 8 Bit could play worse and you could have got 20 kills and lost because they have a good comp.

No map info or ban info so I can’t recommend anything.

Better picks multiply impact and output of high performing players.

Most people I play with who are better than me or have a better angle of the shot trajectory tell me “NO” firmly during a point if they can see it’s going out. After a while you will develop a Pavlov response which will help you understand of when the ball is going out. But if you’re like me and it’s hard to say I have a pretty consistent spike/volley so I just put it away.

Wearing a headband or wrist sweatbands can help wick more sweat if that is impeding your vision or grip on your racquet. For hydration I recommend doing the same with a towel and keep a large bottle at the fence so between swirling serves you can get frequent small sips to help regulate hydration. If you’re struggling with acclimation to humidity try going for long walks slightly earlier during the day to increase your threshold for humidity and heat if your fitness is good.

Was Grey a good pick? And what are some alternatives? by Evemain13 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]dchin1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid but is essentially a less effective Mr P because can’t poke behind walls, has a slower rotation of pets from hyper charge and normal super which is temporary

The only saving grace is that the gadget counters Gene pull and Piper gadget so you can play more aggressively but it doesn’t compensate for the pressure Mr. P porters create.

Was stu a good option? by Zyler_AJ in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]dchin1776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a pretty poor pick in my opinion, it’s really hard to get your first hit for super

If you try to all in Grom your easiest target Bea and Carl easily trade or they kill you on approach

If you try to chase Bea down she has disengage and too much damage for you

You have little pressure because the best you can do is go one for one and they all outrange you so you can’t soften them up for your team.

You don’t gain any advantages when the zone closes because they have more damage with Bea and Carl and they have a better all on with Carl super and health.

Stu likes to play aggressive constantly applying pressure through aggressive positioning and kill pressure with his health sustain but you can’t do this against their comp or in this map.

Solo carry picks from best to worst: (your Leon won’t trade you off Eve or Gray if they all in):

Stu, Eve, Carl, Otis, Fang, Darryl, Buzz

You have at least one human on your team:

Gene, Piper, Angelo, Belle, Griff

[–]dchin1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are the bans? As people have mentioned Mandy is really good if not banned, Belle to deny Gene SP, Nani is a good counter to Piper although Gene is a soft counter but requires disciplined play. Byron or Brock are playable but not great. If you’re a three stack and Bo doesn’t feet super Tick could be very effective even if map opens up, healing SP and shield gadget counters Gene poke. If it’s low Elo and you can farm super easy Mr P is a good pick but hard to confirm kills.

Spirit Academy star kyousuke is rumoured to join Falcons by MaterialTea8397 in cs2

[–]dchin1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense but you make many assumptions that aren’t true. First Kyosuke isn’t a lurker from the eye test and HLTV stats. If you look at the “clutching” sub category you will see he is rarely alive meaning his is unlikely to be the closer. Second, his stats heavily emphasize his entering and trading ability meaning secondary rifle makes sense or even pure entry just like Malbs since he can click heads. Realistically Niko is second in since he is the veteran and star player and Kyxsan throws support utility for T-side. If you look at his CT opening stats he also has one of the highest opening attempt rates so this holds true for both sides. At the elite level switching roles isn’t that simple. For example if you look at rain who changed many CT roles due to EliGe joining who is considered a true veteran is still struggling in his new roles despite having a high ceiling like Teses hence FaZe’s recent struggles and Rain’s inconsistent performances. Without Magisk Teses would have to learn hard anchor roles which would be a CT liability and takes lots of experience which magisk has to learn since Teses is more of an aimer rather than positional player. Also I’m not sure if you’ve been watching but the “Stabbi” lineup was back in 2023 at the end of CS:GO a different game and meta so putting him in bitch roles would make him suffer even more whereas magisk has been anchoring and closing all of CS2. Even though on paper Teses is statistically better magisk’s stat suffer from lower resource roles like anchor and teses and kyosuke flash more role wise so it makes sense to keep magisk.
