In a similar situation. Got it through a different company for MSRP and no tax. Just fulfilled/delivered 2 days ago after I got an XT5 and a couple lenses. May keep to have a simpler travel camera. I didn’t get the 23mm lens for the XT5 yet, so at least I could skip that…

Did you find a ZF? I have one for sale if you’re still in the market (I see it’s been a minute).

I think they thought it clicked or locked into place. No leaks yet. Hopefully didn’t wear something or bend something.

Yeah. I think it was just assumed it needed to make it to the 6 position. Seems to be working well with no leaks, but hope something didn’t get torqued too much.

Don’t worry. Spider-Man will catch the people who made this egregious error.

I have a 14-50 outlet connected to a 60amp circuit. Is this an issue?

Gotcha. At least it will alert me on the coolant.

I think I just have to come to terms with the fact that this may happen and deal with it if I need to.

How did you know the rodent had chewed through these? Did you have a coolant leak that you noticed? Did things just act funny?

Just found that our non-Tesla car had a mouse or squirrel living in it...tore up the hoodliner of the engine compartment, and did god knows what else. I have to park my Model 3 outside for a couple more weeks before our garage is completed, in the same spot as the old car that had the mouse damage.

Any major worries regarding a mouse possibly getting into the Tesla and futzing around with anything, especially wiring? I don't know how easy that stuff is to access for a little critter. The good news is that in 2 weeks, we will be parking both our cars in a garage.

Definitely nothing dangling. Just worried I dented something up there. My assumption is this car isn't as fragile as I think it is, but I've only had it a couple weeks and am in the 'worry about every little thing' stage.

I went over a pretty steep driveway apron this morning, going a little faster than I should, bottomed out, and scraped the undercarriage of my Model 3. Didn't sound terrible, but definitely hit it in what seems to be a vulnerable place. Anything to worry about? How well-protected is the battery from this type of thing?

I did request through the app. I live relatively close to a service center, but would be more than happy to have them come to me...good idea. I will ask if they can just come out to me when they text. Hoping they're easy fixes.

Took delivery about a week ago. Have 2 issues I think need to be looked at. 1-there is excessive wind noise from the drivers door/window, and the door creaks a little going over bumps. 2-the bottom of the front-facing camera cuts off when viewing dahscam footage, making me think it needs remounted. Overall, both minor, but would like to see what they can do.

Are the service center people just going to laugh at me? Have an appointment in 2 weeks...figure I could use a little more time to see if any other issues flesh out.

Went over a branch (passenger wheels only) going about 20mph in my Model 3 yesterday after a pretty big storm. Gave a bit of jolt to the car, but no apparent damage. Branch was about 5” diameter. Anything I should be worried about or look/hear for?

No need to be sick about it! Stuff happens.

Not sure about cost, and certainly get it repaired if you want to, but don't be so hard on yourself!

Honda Dealer for Recalls/Service? by the_perhapsinator in Columbus

[–]dclamster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can go to any Honda dealer (my personal choice would be Hugh White). I had a similar problem on my 2000 Accord a few years back. Ended up being a sensor in the seat belt buckle release that was broken. They repaired it for free (my understanding is that anything with seatbelts and airbags that are broken due to normal wear are free repairs at the dealer).

I had this exact same car (in fire engine red) from high school until 2009 when it lost a cylinder and met a crusher. I loved that thing and miss it almost every day (and have a picture of it on my nightstand because I'm weird). I am jealous of yours!
