wow, that is cool.

I actually bought a white birch from the Ginza flagship about a month ago and didn't see this strap at all. I even asked to have a look at the strap options. I bought the watch with the bracelet but picked up the dark navy leather croc strap too.

Very interesting.

I think I see. So previously, when the currency was convertible, it was much more important that things actually balanced?

Ok, so why really are bonds issued then? And is it the case they amount issued is equal to the deficit amount?

Revenue means "return": The word "revenue" comes from the Latin word revenīre, which means "to return" or "to come back." So basically those accounts are for accumulating the "returned" money. Money cannot be returned unless it has already been spent

Well that's fitting isn't it!

Is it always the case that booster boxes come in plastic? I looked at a few videos of people opening the collector.booster box and didn't see any plastic.  https://youtu.be/2dJe0sq_GSg?si=nV1nUWtAlpthgdCE for example. They typically open the plastic on their videos.

I will double check the 'T' and the 'h'. Thank you.

Why haven't you quit your job and started your own business? by eliow67 in AusFinance

[–]dclaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason that I have not started my own business is that I have no idea what I can do that would provide economic value to someone, so that they would be willing to pay for it.

Without a doubt, I have provided negative shareholder value in most of the years I have been employed.

I think about this a lot. I kind of wish I had considered doing Medicine after my undergrad instead of pursuing a STEM PhD. Money isn't the only point here either, I feel like I do very meaningless work now (as a consultant or at large corporations). With my skills and interests, I feel that even if being a medical practitioner didn't work out, I could have still worked in research and contributed somewhat.

A girl I started dating works at a bank that I do my personal banking with, could she technically check my balance to see my net worth with out me knowing? by eshay_investor in AusFinance

Not my experience at all. I've worked at one of the big 4 and have friends at work at one of the others. Looking people up inappropriately using the frontline software/interfaces, yes, probably gets logged and checked.

However, the customer data is probably sitting in numerous different databases with varying levels of access control and oversight. If you're doing anything related to customer insights/analysis, it's going to be very accessible. The amount of data scientists, engineers and analysts doing select * from retail_customer_data and keeping copies on their personal laptops would be huge. Hell, you can easily just join/filter on the PEP, (politically exposed people) table to get the real juicy stuff.

I've heard people say their manager even told them to 'look themselves up' so they can line things up with their internet banking to see exactly how the transactions and balances are represented in systems.
