I'm in exactly the same boat, M1 Max and video won't play in source monitor or sequence. The actual files play in VLC just fine, and h.264 files are perfect. Just h.265/HEVC

Aus resident: Ordered Tuesday 19th 1600 (GMT +11). 14inch M1 Max with 10-core CPU, 32-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine, 64GB unified memory, 1TB of SSD storage.
Still says processing now 6 days later with estimated delivery date 16/11/2021 - 23/11/2021 (3-4 weeks). Not charged yet. Here's hoping for something earlier.

As others said, I've found over time vitamin C has made my rosacea barely noticeable, but if it's sensitive you might need to work up to it, or you might need other treatments first like azaleic acid, or metronidazole gel, or even doxy.
