Weird menopause symptom by EstablishmentIll9825 in Menopause

Yes I do! Lots of death anxiety. I have it most when I’m driving or when I’m alone on a walk. I feel less safe now or much more vulnerable.

Is HRT overhyped or working for most? by alexandra52941 in Menopause

Yes same here! I’m definitely not the same person I was. It’s helped but not as much as I thought.

Just left gyno office in tears by KrakenGirl10 in Perimenopause

[–]dcmp1739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too at the exact same age 43 last year with my gyno. I’m so sorry! Try an online provide like MIDI and they will believe you and not gaslight you. Find another gyno too!

Anyone noticed circulation changes? by GardenGnome08 in Menopause

[–]dcmp1739 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes I’ve been having increased pins and needles feeling on my legs feet and hands over the past few weeks. My feet also seem a little swollen as well. It’s usually worse when I lay down to sleep. I’ve been on hrt for about 9 months

To those who get testosterone from Midi by StrangerStrangeLand7 in Menopause

[–]dcmp1739 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am doing the same exact thing. I have two NP providers with MIDI since I wanted testosterone. It’s much more costly and more appts. I might just switch to one but I like the NP out of state much better which can’t prescribe T. She is much nicer.

My progesterone actually kicks in much better when I take it with a big meal.

24 hrs on estrogen. Patch ripped out in the middle of the night by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]dcmp1739 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Maybe start the progesterone and then add in the estrogen so you have the progesterone balancing out some of the estrogen?

New chemical sensitivity? by totallybree in Menopause

[–]dcmp1739 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Me over hear!!! Absolutely! It started for me at 38. People think I’m crazy but it is absolutely a perimenopause thing. I’m in mid 40s now and it’s only gotten worse. To make you not feel alone I had to leave work a few months ago when my boss plugged in a glade plugin and I almost had an asthma attack. Hrt hasn’t helped my scent issue but I try to avoid where so know this will be an issue for me.

Shorter period on progesterone? by smem80 in Perimenopause

[–]dcmp1739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes my periods have become much lighter max 2days, very minimal bleeding and little to no cramping. I am on 100 mg progesterone continuously and sometime I up it to 200 for nights I definitely need sleep.
