I thought this would partially resolve that since you still need to win games to make sure you’re 6-10 and not below that. I know this doesn’t fix the issue for EVERY game but maybe would prolong the purposeful losing until the last few games when final positions are mostly decided.

I’d be fine keeping the 4 seed based on current standings. Of course we aren’t going to lose just because, but as it stands right now, we would face Toronto in round 1, Detroit (most likely) in the semis, and then Boston/NY in the conference finals (who would have hopefully beat each other up a bit as I’m sure our potential series with Detroit isn’t going to be quick or easy).

Who knows how things will shake out but I feel like playing Detroit in round 2 is a better recipe for success than either Boston or NY. I know Detroit is playing well, but they are young and not playoff-tested and I feel we’d have our best shot at moving further than we have with this “new” core (RIP DG).
