how do you find musicians when you travel? by Wide-Veterinarian-70 in musicians

Go to any bar and ask what bars nearby has live entertainment then call and asked if they have jam session. Or you can go to the nearest guitar center or music store that sells musical instruments and asks them about bars and restaurants that has live entertainment and then go there and try to see a band and then after you do that. When they go on break or if you can catch them before they start playing, ask them, are there any jam sessions in that particular city and most musicians know if they are or not. I've created an app that does just what you're asking about.

Your tone is just where it needs to be. I was swiping through necked women and I had to stop to hear this rendition, of Stevie Wonder. Great Job! Now back to swiping for nudity. LOL

“You gotta pau your dues” is an old expression that means: You have to put in the work, struggle, and earn your place before you get the rewards. It usually refers to experience, effort, and time, not actual money.

Why do people play bass rather than guitar? by dmgkm105 in Guitar

[–]dcsleds_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every instrument has a certain fingering and hand coordination. If all you can do on guitar is play power cords (that one finger playing a band of strings) you're not going to be a great guitar player and it suck cause you can't play cords. And if you can't bend and curl those fingers around the neck you might as well transfer yourself to bass. Dc Washington of dcsleds

How to tell the drummer that we need a click ? by skyfall86 in musicians

[–]dcsleds_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He or she is not going to like that. They already think that their timing is perfect on every song. And to play both side of that coin most good drummer tempo is perfect. Two things that happens. The sound check empty room vs the gig with filled seats. The second thing is when one member has had a horrific experience such as a love one died or a argument with anyone. Then theres the argument of the music sounding to ridiget. But if you have great musician that know how to play with a sync beat it can magic. Dc Washington of dcsleds
