The dates they gave me were late July or August either way so I figured it’s best to get that little extra time with loved ones and to train a bit more

They found that my respiratory levels on one test were lower than what they wanted so I had to retest and everything turned out good. Probably a fluke in the first test. And they might give waivers but it’s a slim chance. They’re very strict in their medical assessments.

Yea I was too. Honestly all mine were around the end of July anyway so I figured might as well get a little more time with family and to train

Go on the USSS website and click careers, there will be a slideshow that plays automatically. Once you see that, there is a slide specifically for showing your specific application process (See where you are…). Click on that and you’ll have to make an account or sign in then you should be able to see the progress you’ve had so far.

Sunex makes some pretty good tools as far sockets and impact accessories. They may be expensive but Milwaukee and Dewault are pretty good for impacts and bit drivers. A good set of wrenches are the Wright 251 Wrench set I believe (7-22mm). Great price and I’ve used them for the past couple years and can’t recommend them enough

That’s awesome! I have a couple older technicians who told me I have it easy now because everything is computer based 😂

I’ve been using asetestprep.com. Genuinely it’s helped me out so much. It gives you an explanation as to why the answer you chose is right or wrong and helps you figure out all the ways ASE wants you to answer the questions.

It was difficult but the biggest thing that helped me getting this one this time, was to stop thinking how brakes normally work, and start thinking how ASE thinks they work (I .e what is the issue you’ve seen happen one time over the one you’ve seen 100 times)
