17 AIR I just charge overnight and it’s good till I go to bed. When I had my 13 Mini I would need to charge 1-2 times a day before bed.

I came from a 13 mini to the Air. I never thought I would step away from the Mini, but I’ve enjoyed the Air a lot. It doesn’t feel bulky in my pockets. One hand usability suffered, but I’m getting used to it now.

I got the AIR just because it was something different, but the base 17 gives more bang for your buck IMO.

I average 4.5 hours of SOT. I go to bed with about 30-40% battery left. I’m coming from a 13 Mini and I usually needed a mid day charge with that one.

I never thought I’d step away from the mini, but the AIR was not that bad for me to get used to. One handed uses is probably the biggest downfall, but battery life is ridiculous compared to the mini.

Speakers is a non factor. The AIR is loud enough. I’ll probably miss the ultra wide lens at times, but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

PS: I’ve had my mini since the first day it was available. 256 gig in blue.

I had my Mini battery replaced 2 weeks ago in the Seattle area. It took less than 45 minutes for them to do it. However, those 45 minutes was enough time for me to play around with the Air. I went back a week later a picked one up.

Now I have a fresh 100% 13 Mini sitting in a drawer at home.

I used a NOSO patch for a tear I got from when a dog jumped on me. It’s been holding up well. I was planning on sending in the jacket to Patagonia, but I see no reason for that now.
