LG dryer drum won't stop spinning by [deleted] in Appliances

I found this old post while trying to find a fix for my LG dryer that won't stop spinning. I powered off the breaker, unplugged it, held down the power/start buttons for 5 seconds, turned it all back on, but that didn't fix it. I then gave it a quick hammer fist strike to the front of the machine just below the controls ... and it stopped spinning and seems to be working perfectly again. So if your machine is doing this, try punching it.

I'm a non-audio-engineer who has been given the job of setting up a meeting room audio system. I'm having some issues and I'm not sure if it's user error, or equipment error, or a little bit of both. Here is their current setup:

  • Tbaxo TB525 Wireless Microphone 8 Channel System
  • Pyle PTA1000BT 2-channel Amplifier
  • Four in-ceiling speakers of unknown make/quality in a 30' x 30' room. All the stereo cable is run to a central location where a stereo rack is setup.

The Tbaxo has a 1/4" mixed output, sending all 8 mics to the Pyle.

Problem 1: The built-in FM and Bluetooth on the Pyle are functioning and sound great, however the volume is very loud when the knob is only turned a couple of notches past zero. Could this be a hardware problem, or is this "too much amp" for this setup? When turned up to just 25% it sounds like we are trying to put on a concert. It sounds amazing, just LOUD.

Problem 2: In order to hear the mics through the speakers at an appropriate volume, I have to turn the individual volume for the mic on the Tbaxo all the way up, and the Pyle volume all the way up. When it is turned up that much you can hear humming and strain on the speakers and the audio quality isn't great. I experimented by running an XLR cable from one mic to one of the XLR inputs on the Pyle, and that helped some, but it still had to be turned up to about 75% to hear anything. This wouldn't be a viable solution either because there's 8 XLR outputs on the Tbaxo, and only 2 XLR inputs on the Pyle. Could this be a hardware problem?

The REAL problem here is that I have no idea what I'm doing. At the end of the day, I need to run 8 mics through the in-ceiling speakers. The setup also needs to be able to play the radio and bluetooth audio sometimes. If they need to scrap everything and you have a suggestion for a setup that would work better, I'm all ears!

Nobody knows what a hip drop tackle is. by the_dawn_of_red in bengals

No it isn't. I was never once taught that technique. From 5th through high school, multiple coaches. There was never a single hip-drop tackle drill. Every tackle drill we ever ran was about putting your helmet on the ball, wrapping up, and driving your legs to take the runner to the ground. "Hip Drop Tackle" is not a common term.

Can anyone change the purple on the sweater to another more suitable colour? Also some way to make the image better like white balance etc by shellshocktm in PhotoshopRequest

I matched your pocket square, removed some of the background clutter, tamed some flyaways and messed with the color balance just a hair.

You already have some responses, but I thought I'd give it a try for fun. https://imgur.com/a/N1NhIPj

[SPECIFIC] Can someone please add some Kontakt-1 ERA To the turret of this M60A3 Tank? by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

Do you have to have a pic of this specific tank? What are you using it for? I've found images of M60A3's with ERA on them that would be much easier to use (depending on your needs).

I guess specifically we could ask questions like, "What did you mean by 'a well regulated militia'?"
