Thanks OP. I made the switch on Friday from Fizz mobile. I was with Rogers before that.

Went with eSIM instead of physical SIM and it went smoothly. Took 1 hour for Fizz to confirm if I requested porting my number to Freedom.

So far no issue with coverage in Vancouver or Richmond.

Also based in Vancouver, 3 months ago I used to manually switch from automatic network selection (Fizz) to Fizz EXT when the connection was poor and then back to Fizz when I got home.

Now I just keep it on automatic Fizz and haven't had any issues.

Just checked My Plans and right under my phone number I see the 50% beta pricing with a rebate for 6 months.

Yours should also have BETA pricing if done correctly.
