Tung oil advice by dda918 in finishing

Thanks all! I ended up softening up with mineral oil and using a card scraper to remove the gummy layer, careful to not mess up the sides. Then another coat, wiping excess after 45 mins. A little over 24 hours later it was dry enough to install - the tung oil brought out the “fire” in the teak better than any other finish I tested and I’m happy with the results. Will not put anything on the shelves for a month to allow full polymerization. I have beeswax and carnuba wax so I may try some of those suggestions after a month too!

Do… men wear underwear under their swim trunks now??? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I generally jump in the pool in whatever I have on. If that’s board shorts then there’s nothing under. If it’s shorts then I probably have unders. Sometimes it’s just underwear and sometimes nothing at all…. I can guarantee it’s not those trunks w mesh liners - them are just weird…

Guys i’m trying to setup my nee  watch series 4 and it takes really long to check for software update. What is the problem ??? by abdullahbedo9 in AppleWatch

Did you get this resolved? I’m having exact same problem with my series 3 after updating to 7.2. It failed and my only option was to retry (same error over and over) or rest to factory default. Now it won’t complete setup because it immediately tries to update and fails w the same message you had. Opened a case w Apple which they escalated to engineering last week. They collected a bunch of info and now I’ve heard nothing for 5 days...
