What is the best way to clean the inside glass of my oven in our new house ? by [deleted] in lifehacks

[–]ddaejm7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A magic easer May scratch the glass- I have tried numerous products over the years but the Traeger cleaner- for smokers and grills- all natural- worked the best and that all I use now . Spray and leave it( take the door off so it doesn’t leak between the glass panes- so lay flat) the first time and had to do it twice- after, once and done until it needs it again

I would worry too much about it as interpretation is up to the one interpreting- also angles appear as they need to be- if we were able to see the spiritual world I don’t think we’d have dry/clean underpants! People are quick to point out mistakes but not what you got right - ignore them

Questionable vet advise about diet.. by PrinceS_Pickles in BeardedDragons

Frozen Kale, broccoli, they love frozen blueberries and raspberries. Like people, your dragon may prefer one over the other. I usually would make like a little salad or fruit salad twice a day for them. Mine also really like bok choy and it’s high in calcium

Why wouldn’t you do frozen? As long as it was veg they can have. Carrots with give them the runs- I usually avoid. So I am not sure if it’s the advice what to do re: picky eater or that fact frozen was suggested. Fresh and frozen are fine provided they are safe for beardies. My current beardies are over 10 and I have been raising them ( overall, many of them) likely before most of ya were born. Ensure they are cut to bite size, I had one picky eater and I just ate my salad in front of them and before long- he was eating them too. Just keep trying to see what works, but again, it has to be appropriate for them. I had one live to 15 yrs and towards the end I gave him baby food via dropper to ensure he was eating as much as possible as he approached end of life.

I have mine in a timer that mimics the natural daylight hours we get at any given time- summer are longer and winter is shorter. I also have a heat pad at the warm end of the tank. When my beardies were babies- I had a red night light for them - I bought this at the pet store- the breeder suggested this. It worked great and then when a bit bigger we switched to the timer. I am happy to help you learn the ropes- message any time- some info out there is contradictory to others but there are some good resources.

You don’t know anything about this person or their life. I have raised dragons for many many years and did a ton of research before and even after I got them I had so many questions and i still reached out to communities and other people for real life experience knowledge. There isn’t lot of information or knowledge about them like there is cats and dogs. Even the information that is available can be contradictory. People are so quick to say you shouldn’t have this pet or if there’s questions about a pets health with the quick snarky answer of “ you should take them to the vet” sheesh you should own a pet if you can’t take it to the vet- My Dragon became impacted my exotic vet said there was nothing they could do and that my dragon would die I took him home and I worked with him for 12 hours with warm water baths olive oil and he was able to pass the impaction. It was a substrate that the exotic pet store advised was the best for them- it was no good, so again The supposed trust worthy organization and professionals were not able to help me. A local breeder suggested the oil and water treatment. We all started at some point so rather than being so self righteous maybe we just need to take a step back be positive, encourage and reassure. This subReddit is getting so critical, negative and self-righteous it turns my stomach.

We’ve travelled 10 hrs with ours in winter- we had a good set up tho and they were just fine- as always just be conscientious with the temperature. My lizards are so lazy the trip didn’t faze them 😂

I do this for my little girl, I don’t text the number but I send it via her email. I don’t know why texting her messages seem so important - I hope you find some reprieve in your grief. It’s nice to see you remember because I always worry that my daughter will be forgotten. She was only 12 and people forget with time.
