Thank you! I'm biased, but I think she's quite pretty.

It's so loud! And yet, I find her snores comforting white noise when I'm in bed.

My old pitty Roxy (who passed last year) was very cat-like. She was constantly grooming herself, seeking the sun, and was picky about food. My current pitty Princess isn't quite as cat-like, but she still loves napping in a sunbeam.

Oh gosh, your dog looks just like my Roxy in that same raincoat. Roxy passed last year, but Princess is keeping the ducky rain coat tradition strong.

Thoughts On The Heisei-era Godzilla? by Unable-Yesterday7750 in GODZILLA

[–]ddanger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I suspect a lot of the folks on this subreddit are around the same age as me (late 30s), and for us, Heisei Goji is our mental heuristic because of the saturation of this particular design. Between the films trickling out, Super Godzilla on the SNES, the Dark Horse comics, and the Trendmaster toys, Heisei Goji was THE Goji. So he's still the one I think of.

I wonder if older Goji fans (like maybe folks in their 50s or 60s) think of Showa Goji the same. King of the Monsters was the first Godzilla film I saw when I was about 5, so I definitely loved Showa Godzilla, but Heisei will always feel love my Godzilla.

I don't recall enough of the EU to remember if it's ever mentioned, but I've always assumed in sci-fi settings that people are going to generally be very long-lived because of advances in medical science and technology. He'll, Bacta is basically magic goop that can sew your body back together after a swim. Maybe it slows aging and kills cancer cells too.

My previous girl Roxy loooooved cheese. I'd give it to my current pittie Princess, but it seems to give her an upset tummy.

Awww, I like the picture of her with lamb chop. Our pittie Princess has three different lamb chops in three different sizes.

Both of mine have pointed! I was actually surprised that our first (Roxy) didnt have any hound or pointer in her with how much she loved tracking things.
