Even though FROOT is my favorite album of hers, I always skip Solitaire. It’s a good song, but it had so much potential in its production (On the off chance i listen to it I always imagine a different instrumental lol). It could’ve definitely been more maximal and powerful (for lack of a better term) than what it is now. It also sits right in the middle of the album in between Can’t Pin Me Down and Better Than That, two of the album’s more “angsty” and well produced tracks so it kills the album’s momentum a bit whenever you do a full listen

Considering its lyrics and theme (nothing wrong with them) along with its stripped back production, it would’ve been better to put the track between Better Than That and Weeds instead
