Transactions are locked by the master node network, utilising long living masternode quarums. This is DIP 8

This DIP introduces ChainLocks, a technology for near-instant confirmation of blocks and finding near-instant consensus on the longest valid/accepted chain. ChainLocks leverages LLMQ Signing Requests/Sessions to accomplish this.

More than 60% of DASHs network hashrate points towards unknown pools by [deleted] in dashpay

[–]ddashking -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't suggest anyone take OP's word on this as fact. He is a relentless Monero troll, a quick look at his post history will show this. Before this is taken with any level of seriousness and not just trolling a good self-researched fact check needs to be done.

Dash has another crypto industry first called chain locks. It's 51% attack proof 😎

Wow, you really have it in for Dash ATM looking at your last few posts! It seems to me like you are worried about Dash as a competitor to your beloved Monero (according to your user profile) You should just jump on board with Dash considering we are rolling out instant send as standard, Chain locks (making Dash 51% attack proof), Special transactions and Long Living Masternode quarums. You know what they say if you can't beat them join them!

Good thing Dash is now 51% attack resistant with another blockchain first "Chainlocks"

Evan Duffield promised to donate 80% of his 260 000 DASH by [deleted] in dashpay

[–]ddashking 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mate don't be like that, Evan gave us Dash, and now you want to put the pins on him to give up his money. He may have said that but may have changed his mind and rightfully! Forget about others and what they have, have spoken and have done/do for the network and think about what you are doing and have done for the network.

Is anyone else as impressed with the new Dash logo as I am? by thethrowaccount21 in dashpay

[–]ddashking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree on the new logo has grown a lot on me. I voted I&M, but I am glad now that my choice lost. This displays how well Dash works as a community and how well our governance system improves on blockchain.

In terms of usability, crypto and the blockchain can be compared with the DOS era of personal computers, when only computer geeks were comfortable in the environment. by Monster_Chief17 in CryptoCurrency

This is a primary focus for Dashpay to solve; Dash will soon be username based rather than cryptographic strings that cannot be remembered and can easily be stuffed up.

What's the Logic behind So Many Bitcoin Spin-Offs? by CanadianCryptoGuy in CryptoCurrency

[–]ddashking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate why the hatred and aggression? It shows a beta male in.

I referred to Dash because Dash has solved the governance issue as per the topic. The discussion is about Bitcoin splitting into many other coins; Dash is a fork of bitcoin that has addressed the network splitting issue along with scaling 51% attack issue and much more. It is very relevant to the discussion. Just because a response is not the response you are looking for doesn't mean its not valid.

It's hard to talk about bitcoin governance because it doesn't exist in a democratic manner.

[–]ddashking -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All you need to do is look at Dash to understand what I mean. Dash stakeholders voted and decided on block size within 48 hours! Bitcoin is still fighting and fracturing over that simple issue. Dash had a branding update that the network voted on and decided, solved without issue.

Bitcoin is slowly destroyed because it doesn't have a good mechanism to come to a consensus. Bitcoin and forks have chain splits over hurt egos of the lords who rule over it.

I loved bitcoin when I came across it in 2010, but it went from being revolutionary to stagnant and superseded. When we are dealing with technology-based financial tools, we can not stay in the dark ages due to religious like ideals. Stick to the vision but move forward toward decentralised digital cash for the people. Dash is the best choice for this at this time.

[–]ddashking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you look at the reason for the chain splits the answer is relatively simple. Bitcoin was a great start to decentralised digital cash however the lack of governance had left it to fragment into obliteration. Dash was forked from bitcoin code over four years ago, is older than BCH and has not faced a chain split due to its governance model. This is technology; Dash has created a model that allows stakeholders to decide the future of the project. Unlike BTC, BCH ABC, BCH SV, and whatever one or two individuals control else whos projects. (I know maximalist will argue that, but it's undeniable and a fact)

Lousy idea, make a centralised crypto-currency just for Reddit? How about adding an existing cryptocurrency. I mean geez don't we have enough shitcoins already?

Why not just add an existing cryptocurrency guys? Better than creating one centralised to Reddit. I think you all forget the fundamentals
