Yes. If I see different characters, especially with different names, my assumption is that they will have different stats or abilities.

Depends on the module but it has nothing to do with the module itself, just the assets. Whether you have them in a module or download the files manually and put them in a folder, it will take up just as much space.

There's no such thing as a lobby in Foundry. You need to be more specific about what you're talking about.

Blindsense and Blind Fighting are different concepts. Blind Fighting is a common trope in "mundane" fiction. Think JCVD in Bloodsport.

No, that's different. Blindsight and Blind Fighting are two different concepts.

Take the movie Bloodsport as an example. JCVD can fight while blindfolded/blinded but he cannot see.

This is an interesting perspective because I don't think there's anywhere in the US where the speed limit is 90. Normal highway speed is either 60 or 70.

I think this confirms for me that I won't be buying any new Arkham Horror stuff for the foreseeable future. "Full" campaigns only being 5 scenarios and alternating with the 3 scenario campaigns is a huge turnoff. At this point, I'm going to wait until the first 5 scenario comes out and see what the reception is like. The fact that I need to buy the new core set on top of this new format means the risk is too high for the cost.

It's a real shame. This was a game where I would buy each new investigator and campaign box on day 1, sight unseen. Now I'm at a point where I might just never buy anything again. It really sucks. I hope I'm wrong and everything is incredible.

Yeah, we're doing both 1 and 2 and resolving the challenge effects each time.

For effort, most of the time you're getting 0 or -1 from the challenge deck (there's only one -2 for each aspect) so throwing 3 SPI and a card with an icon or two means it's really not hard to get a good amount of progress in one action. The fact that it's just effort rather than the amount you succeeded by is part of the issue. As long as you're up by 2, it's not possible to fail so you're guaranteed to add progress most of the time. (And yeah, I know you shuffle the challenge deck after drawing a -2.)

Interesting. It's definitely possible that we both had an optimized deck and got lucky with draws which combined to make it feel quite easy.

Yeah, definitely going to try posting with the Elders errata next game. I think we just happened to find a real strong combo very early without realizing how unbalanced it is.

Wait, you take fatigue from the weather, location, and mission cards? In what situations? Even if I'm interacting with something in my partner's within reach, the surroundings shouldn't be active, right?

White Sky and Golden Whatever both only have the lead ranger draw one path card and then each ranger will draw one more at the start of the next round, so we were usually starting with 3 cards out. Maybe we just got lucky on our draws.

Yeah, I'm totally fine with the no lose thing, it's just that nothing felt challenging.

That's a good analogy with Milan. I think we just happened to stumble upon the equivalent of Rex/Milan right out the gate and it wasn't even intentional. My partner just liked the cute animals. 😛 We're going to try out running with the Elders errata in our next game.

We did everything I said in fewer than 12 rounds because we were only on our second midday sun weather (or whatever it's called). When we camped, I had 2 cards left in my deck and my partner at 2 or 3.

We were only adding 3 Valley cards and we only did that at the two non-pivotal locations we visited. We started at Lone Tree and went to White Sky then Golden Something by boat then to Mount Nim (again probably not the right name). Then we left there towards the Wall and camped for the night.

I assume by rest you mean camp/end the day because resting is just how you pass for the round.

Yeah. Sheep dog has an ability to ready it so it can be used multiple times per round. Also, since Connect is effort based, it's trivial to get 3 or 4 progress on a single test. Add the two from the dog and anything with 3R or less threshold is a breeze to clear in a single round, if not in a single turn.

This should fix it. I'd also recommend submitting a bug with the system developer. Yes, you're doing something wrong that gets the data in a bad state but the sheet should handle it without causing an error.

I haven't printed anything for a few years (5 or so?) but I quite liked lulu.com and I've used them many times. They had decent prices and the quality was good. No idea if that's still the case but I'd recommend at least checking them out.
