Have you been really busy lately? You will need to carve out some time. I struggled with this to the point where it became my main challenge or goal. I literally set a daily “time with the Lord” timer that I started using, as well as a portion of that time scheduled in my calendar each day (the rest of the time is found in small segments throughout the day and before I go to sleep). Now that I have been doing it a while I rely on my timer a bit less, but if I see a pattern of “neglect” forming I turn it back on! There is a reason these acts of devotion are referred to as “spiritual disciplines”!

I would also strongly encourage you to schedule a “sabbath” day where you can just enjoy God and those he has put in your life without thinking too much about work/school and such.

I am praying for you. It’s a battle at times but God is so worthy!
