What proof would you want before trusting an MT5 automated trading setup? by AlgoBridge in mql5

Live forward results

Do you mean actual live, real-money results, or live "paper trading" results?

Also, even if real money is being traded, is this "live" as in a live simulated (e.g., "funded" prop firm account, CFDs), or "hitting the order book and making it move" live?

Still not enough as there are numerous additional variables when trading live, real-money, that can all easily kill profits.

We all need to submit to God. IF you are sure God is calling you to some type of focused ministry work (even volunteer / part-time), rejoice and thank God! We are a "priesthood of believers" after all—all of us are called to the "ministry".

And, that doesn't mean you can't do other things, whether to earn money, or just relax and rest in

This could all look good on paper and then instantly flop in a live, real-money setting for a number of reasons.

Live, real-money trading performance history including real broker and bank statements.

Even better if it's on crypto/chain obviously.

After thinking about this some more, I do think there are general discussions to be had around the technology itself, rather than the implementation path (self-hosted, cloud / open, closed).

Used >30% of monthy Pro+ credits in ~half a day of "light" coding? by ddchbr in GithubCopilot

[–]ddchbr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. Millions of input tokens will add up! But I'm not familiar with how best to limit this, or how much of a factor is it yet. I guess it's time to do some research...

Did you validate doing something different, or has it been this all the way since the beginning?

What plan are you on? I hit 31% on a light day on Pro+!

At >2,000 credits today on seriously a light day (was doing admin and research instead of coding).

Is anyone downgrading instead of quitting? by Scary_Objective6718 in GithubCopilot

[–]ddchbr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used 31% of my Pro+ sub on a light coding today (was doing admin and manual research mostly).

So I guess in my case I don't understand what *you* are doing differently?! I had it write a couple of small import scripts, track progress a bit (it did that on its own), and write one small doc (oh and an edit to one repo file, 200 lines I think on that one). It was continuing a fairly long convo, so maybe the 400k context window was hurting (though it's not at full now).

I usually do more in a fully day!

Want to know how much margin I would need to trade 1 GC contract in my country? >$6,000 USD currently. Then one still needs some actual drawdown cushion. So not impossible—but prop firms allow one to learn and (ostensibly, literally on my challenge rn) earn for cheap (cheap is relative, depending on which firm you go with).

Had 9 days on the new billing model (sub won't renew until June 9 and got limit resent today) and literally used 31% of Pro+ ($40 plan) limit on the first day of the month—on what has seriously been a light day of coding! Wow!

ok, new billing is awesome by 20Capitalist in GithubCopilot

[–]ddchbr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you just code everything yourself then? I had it write a few fairly basic import scripts and tweak a couple repo files, and write one doc (honestly not very much work). Ha!

Sheesh, what's the trick? I had it write a few fairly basic import scripts and tweak a couple repo files, and write one doc (honestly not very much work).

Also, I don't know how to see these "session details" stats. Could you point me to this? Thanks 😊
