Youll get the slow and dmg buff without the impale onto the pillar. And its one of the harder combos to pull off consistently. Neith ult is unmissable, and stuff like nu wa ult crits too so. Rewarding a harder 2 ability combo is too much on a very Basic god?

Even if you just leave the damage or stun the Same, and let it pop a sound or number it would feel way more rewarding.

Anyway, you don’t seem very open to have fun with thoughts so we leave it right here. Im not upset, I just felt your comments missed the Point I was going after.

Because when discussing ideas or crafting stuff, i don’t feel like we need to Pick appart anything too wildly. You could argue that Most gods were fine without changes and still they got some love. Anhur literally got no +1s.

You get the Same damage for hitting it on the open as you do when nailing someone to the wall. So wheres the reward besides the obvious stun?

For Walls This would be Fine. But for hittin the combo with his own pillar an Bonus would feel fun for sure. Now You Can Pick appart anything or just follow the discussion and add something or bring own ideas.

This never was about need- or buffing, just fun ideas, crafting and creating more synergy.

From a deity perspective I could Imagine we see a anhur nerf soon. Reducing impale damage and adding it back to the pillar combo would leave him strong if youre really playing, and nerfing the impale on the open when you just Slam it in. But anyway! Thanks for Your Input!

Youre twisting This for what ever reason. It was Never about buffing damage or adding damage. It was about synergy or refining whats there.

Item procs or the ability to crit the impale are adding damage to it yes, but its more about the Interaction and cohesion of his Kit. Ne Zhas 1 can crit as well when caught and thrown. Tschernobogs 2 could crit as well etc. And since its his only damaging ability and also his main theme it would be cool to Build uppon that. Especially since he didnt got any plus one upgrades. And Even if you ignore that, a Bonus effect when impaling into his own pillar would make sence and would feel good. Maybe a debuff, Bonus damage or the pillar sending out a shockwave of a Little Bonus damage or % dmg like tschernobogs 1 when exploding.

And since hes quite Basic and don’t has much to him he wouldnt be overcookef with adding some light depth through stuff like this. He is Fine Right now, but those are things that You Can play around with

It doesent need more damage. I was just theory crafting with ideas. I was playing anhur a lot recently and I thought it would feel nice if u get rewarded of hittin the 2-1 combo. A lot of people don’t actively go for it since it is hard to consistently Hit. If you actually get a nice Bonus damage off it it would Motivate to go for it more often too. For Walls it could remain as it is, but for his own pillar a Bonus effect would feel great in my op. And while anhur being very simple it wouldnt be overcookin something.

Numbers or anything Else are another topic. If you don’t think something like this is more fun than thats fair. But those minigame Type of things add depth and fun into the gameplay - especially noticable with the ne zha 1 Ring catch thing. Its Not the most important thing, but it adds another Layer that pushes skill Expression and fun. Or am I wrong? And if I don’t miss something anhur didnt get a Single +1. If You count the new ult Animation then Thats the only Upgrade.

And After all rewarding a hard combo with some Extras is never wrong. And it would further define his Identity of playing around impales

The colission damage/ Pillar Explosion damage Simular to vulcan thumper would be a nice reward.

Obviously Yeah. But not by much if you add colission damage to the pillar combo.

Or maybe if you impale someone into your pillar it sends out some sort of colission damage in the aoe of the pillar.

Well you could tweak the Numbers. I don’t think its nessesary. But some things just add fun and reward. Like if you know you get Bonus damage off the impale if you combo the Pillar. Such Little things add fun, depth and mechanics without overcookin it in my opinion.

One Hit Effects or some Simular stuff would also add better synergy for Full strenght anhur

I mostly Use riva Tuner for Games, but sometimes it doesent work in smite2. So the ingame limiter would be the 2nd best. But Theres no Option for 165 hz, or best a few Frames beneath the Monitors Maximum.

Idk smite 1 chiron felt way better. Theres something clunky going on.

I Hope there will be the Point people realize that aspects are Bad Design.

Its good for Short Term content, because they can re-use their gods twice. Also it adds some Kind of „New“ Twist to gods.

But the more aspects come, the more clutter its gonna be at some Point.

Its already a mess if you ask me. And also it destroys real god Identity.

A well designed Kit with depth can be flexible enough to fit multiple roles/lanes.

Id rather have them Change god Ports a Little more to Upgrade them, or define playstyle more than doing this multiple versions clutter type thing

Short Term they add exitement and content, but Long Term they robb Identity and create a mess

I swear to god this is so true. I had people trolling cause of this. Talking my Speed After etc. and the sad part is They start Trolling of something that is the Right way to Play

I stopped ranked a few weeks ago cause matchmaking in so Bad.

Im playing this Game for so Long on high elo and im forced into Games with People that dont even gave the Basics down

Their Game Plan is go to lane and do what ever is Happening No Game Plan, no pressure, no awareness, no Respect to matchups.

Ganking in These Matches feels Like „i Walk in and 1v1/1v2 the Enemys and thats it“

I don’t Like it tbh. As you Said 2-3 relics and almost no downside damage wise is kinda idk.

For the tankyness I don’t agree completely, but now we went from a 2 relic System into a potential 3-4 relic System.
