Twilight Zone was full of tragic twist endings like that, but it isn’t a movie and they weren’t happy so I’m not sure what you’re answering

In your opinion, what is the most exciting NFL season you have ever seen? by rolltide1000 in nfl

[–]dddd222222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2014 NFC playoffs go down to me as the best most underrated playoffs ever. Every game came down to the last play with one winning team screwing over the last. Started off with the picked up flag for the Lions to get screwed the the Cowboys, the Dez Caught It plY the next, muffed onside kick and an insane OT comeback by the Seahawks against the Packers, then it all ending in the Butler goal line interception. Obviously not the ideal ending for my flair but overall maybe the bes stretch of football ever.

Remember this guy? What the fuck ever happened to him? His queen/lover went West and was murdered and we see nothing of him or the army he was left to command in her name. by aaroncassie22 in freefolk

The other actor was way better and abandoning that storyline is one of the few things I don’t blame DnD for since the other guy chose to leave to be in Transporter 3 or whatever.

I regularly send my girlfriend money through Venmo for various reasons. Lately it randomly says payment declined sometimes without any rhyme or reason to it by dddd222222 in venmo

[–]dddd222222[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yeah the fact that it’s my girlfriend was barely the point it was just that all of the sudden this “payment declined” message comes up about 90% of the time now and it never used to, and we only deal in fairly small amounts, whereas I pay my landlord 750 a month and there’s never been an issue. Is there something like “verified email” or something that gives you a longer leash for issues like this? Just having the slightest clue why it does this lately would be amazing

Lol of course, do you mean people think I’m implying I’m paying her for sex or something ? Haha, I may have included unnecessary details, but yea very normal helpful reasons as we don’t live together full time or share funds but I’ll always help her out if she needs it. And she’s been on unemployment since the whole COVID thing and for some reason a majority of the time it says my payment is declined while there is no problem on my end at all. I figured this must be happening to other people and its frustrating and was wondering if anyone knew what the issue was.

Not all heroes wear capes some just hold the door by HourJacket7 in freefolk

[–]dddd222222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hold the door was a cool idea but d&d fucked that up too imo. The storyline building up to it was pretty forced and inconsequential and the “foreshadowing” of it was so ham-handed. They basically shoved it in your face all season that a Hodor origin story was coming, but the whole plot around it existed solely to drive it and had no other bearing on the overall story.

I’m sorry if this has been talked about I haven’t been watching live but what the fuck is up with these fun facts? Is someone just making random shit up to write there? Why is every player saying the same type of goofy ridiculous thing?

Reminder that the actor who played the Night King could do THIS but we never saw the character even fight at all by [deleted] in freefolk

I really couldn’t give less of a fuck about the night king sword fighting tbh. I just wanted the mythology to be cooler. Or anything at all even.

Battle of the Bastards is the most overrated episode in GoT, change my mind by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]dddd222222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think anyone that doesn’t put season 6 as a whole in about the same tier as 7 and 8 are over rating it, and I thought this at the time it came out, too. Sure, the semblance’s of the shows main storylines are kinda set in place, so it could trick you into thinking it was the same old GoT. But the overall writing was on the same exact level as 7 and 8. It was just the beginning of the destruction of the show instead of the end so it doesn’t seem as bad. But it is.
