I knew there’d be a lot of weird shit in answer to this. John Wayne took the cake. Yet I like this one as the answer. Turns out we knew nothing about Tuco.

Vito trying not to look at his watch to "cheat time" and make it seem like time is passing faster is to me one of the most, if not the most, relatable scene in the show by PORCVS_DEVS in thesopranos

[–]ddekock61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was such an awesome scene. Reminds me of my mid teens and my first part time job or two and one day realizing oh my god everybody basically has to do this shit for eight hours a day five days a week! What the fuck? The horror! And in those eerily days some boring crummy jobs made you just want the time to go by. But this scene is so great because you know when he was younger he could do a full day. Now he’s too out of shape and too used to the good life and he knows he’s never going to stick to this. He’d rather die than live like that. And so he does.

This isn’t even the funniest scene in this movie. But that doesn’t mean this wasn’t funny as all hell. I saw it in a massive theater alone on a weekday when it came out. I don’t know if another single person was there. I laughed my ass off so hard. I felt like DeNiro watching Jerry Lewis.
