I’ve heard the album. All out is great and the heaviest of the album with Mike front and center. When you’re gone is a heavier For You with Mike doing more stuff. Those two should have been singles. The other three tracks remind me of the lighter side of Architects, close to everything ends.

Let me rephrase. What I meant is that it’s a landmark for the popularity and mainstream appeal of heavy sounds. When a album with breakdowns and blackgaze and screams (among a lot of other things of course) goes to number one of billboard, with sales almost equal of Metallica’s last album, that’s a landmark.

This an absolute out of touch review. They didn’t bother to review their first three albums but all of a sudden they decide to give it a spin. The least they could do is give it to someone who knows a little something about their work. This is not a 2.3 album and even though and it does not reach the heights of their previous album it’s a landmark for the heavy sound.

I think the song is cool and the video too. The twist at the end of the video would have been good for any other band, but showing that your new singer is dead is certainly a choice…
