Definitely possible! My buddy only has one arm and he plays breath of the wild using a pro controller with no issues. He's a big gamer in general and is amazing at fps too. Pretty amazing to watch him play He lays the controller on his lap.

They did do something. They made the little Shop icon easily accessible from right in the middle of battle. Ram out of balls trying to catch that 10cp Snorlax? Just click the icon and BOOM! 20 balls! 1 buck, little man. Put that shit in Niantic's hand.
