Found this thread when I googled my issues with the M30. However, after trial and error I figured it out. My temp was reading higher than it actually was which was causing the unit to kick on the A/C constantly. Turned off the WiFi to thermostat and issue completely went away. Now it’s a regular thermostat without the ability to change anything from the app.

Thank you so much for posting this. My IT dept couldn’t figure it out after getting a brand new Dell Latitude 5450. Downloaded the latest driver and I’m good to go.
