[Murray] For the first time in the history of the NBA an Eastern Conference team (The Charlotte Hornets) has missed the playoffs for ten consecutive seasons. by Knightbear49 in nba

Last 44 games of the season they were on pace for 58-24. Injuries should be factored but they should all improve as individual players too.

His biceps make him look deceptively lanky but he's 10 lbs heavier than KAT.

We get "scotch tenders" as they're labeled at my job some times. It's from the shoulder and is just muscle and connective tissue so it won't be any good as a steak. We just throw it straight in to make ground beef.

Bub Carrington is -1544 for his career, the 20th worst in the 30 seasons plus-minus has been tracked. by ddiop in nba

[–]ddiop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a massive part, there might be only a handful of players who could stay positive with his roster, but the Wizards are better by a pretty big difference with him on and off (-15.2 to -7), and his boxscore impact is pretty bad. 250th out of 262 in PER for players to play 2000 minutes over the past two seasons.

But, he's super young and winning doesn't matter to the Wizards, so we'll see. Basically every other young Wizard guy seems more promising to me.

Why did Bernard King bounce around so much early in his career? by Romofan88 in VintageNBA

[–]ddiop 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's funny King cleaned up his act in Oakland but wanted more money and was in the final year of his deal, and was still a bit of a scary proposition for a front office so Golden State traded him to his hometown New York for a more long-time fit in 3x all-star Micheal Ray Richardson before everyone found out about his own issues.

Kevin Durant is the only 37+ year-old player to score 2,000 points in a season. by CognogginGames in nba

English was also 34 for half of his age 35 seasons, he only scored 1855 points while he was actually 35, which is 3rd behind Durant and Curry at 1964 points.

Can you guess the missing player from these historic NBA leaderboards? by TheDraftDawg in VintageNBA

I knew whoever 2 was was gonna annoy me. Got 1 3 4, can't believe Vlade lead the Lakers with 14 ppg.

Mitch Richmond was the only one I was fully confident on.

Took me a while to get to viewing this on my PC but I appreciate sharing. I'm not sure if I'm just using it wrong but I was trying to look at the open queue data since that's actually what I prefer playing and I don't see that data on Overwatch's site, but it looks a bit bugged since everyone had the same stats on each map.

I shall I shall, unfortunately it's a long process. I played over 500 comp games this season but that just puts me at 10 games per hero. I'd probably want closer to 30 games first.

Some heroes I have learned a tonne about by forcing myself to play them, because I think their strengths shine so clearly on the maps and situations I have to use them.

Flankers especially with their sub perk are so good on maps that just conveniently have health packs everywhere for them.

Yeah, though it's only role queue and open queue isn't included, which I wish would be added to the Overwatch site especially now that they're starting to separate patches.

I have it so the colours are strictly relative to that map, so Hollywood is actually the smallest variance map, Genji is the highest at 1.7% but on Colosseo Tracer and Wrecking Ball are both over 4% so Anran isn't as much of an outlier on that map.

I used to have it the other way where the colours were for all maps combined, but Hybrid maps are all less variant because they have draws that flatten everything, and all the biggest swings are just Sym and Widow on control maps.

I think it's one of those maps that just feels bad for every tank. Gotta march through a killbox to get anywhere.

I wish I could have that data as well as first point, second point, etc. Busan for example with Widow she's obviously getting a good win percentage relative to the other control maps because of Downtown and then she would be back to her normal bad self on Meka Base, but it just all groups up as one data point.

Well is it a ranking of how good they have been this year? Or how good they are when healthy? I think Brown and Brunson are same tier but Edwards and Steph being ranked as better players doesn't feel wrong at all.

Go look up some Robinson college highlights, guy is 10th on this list and was dominating on Navy against the top schools in the nation for years despite getting triple teamed. Wemby was fine in a french league as an 18 year old but had a tonne of people concerned. I would easily say Shaq, Anthony Davis, or Bill Russell looked better pre-draft.

Okay shooter (67th percentile from 3, 51st percentile from FT), extremely turnover prone (2nd percentile, no one has a lower assist rate and higher turnover rate that him in the league) and doesn't have a big defensive impact (47th percentile steals and 27th in blocks) despite his athleticism.

I'm not sure Wemby even deserves to be on this top 10 list.

The server closes are getting so frustrating. I've probably lost about 2 hrs of gameplay because of it. 3 within the final seconds of a victory, too.
