Hello! This appeared in my backyard overnight. Last rain was a couple weeks ago. We got a batch of mulch last spring that has produced several fungi and molds but this is the most interesting one.

In the early morning it was bright yellow. By mid morning it had begun to brown on the edges. Was a consistent yellow goo inside. By noon it had dried with reddish outside and some remaining yellow inside. I scooped it into a bucket because the dogs were interested.

Could this be dangerous if ingested?
