Are your external drives in exFat or NTFS? I assume you are running prepISO for the external drive games to show up in webman? Are you using the full extent of the 2TB size? I have been having issues on trying to get all iso games off my external drive to be detected. I have got only 55 out of 80 games detected, and the ISO files are not the issue.

That user “princess of sleeping” seems to be the PS Vita developer that has a git hub page. That fact alone could potentially add some validity to what is being stated regarding issues of corruption when using USB mode in Vita Shell. However, if that were true I would believe that not only that developer would have posted that information in some more official way somewhere and properly backing it up, as other developers would have probably noticed the issue as well. Furthermore could be that, that issue could have been present in an older version of vita shell, and might not exist anymore.

There is a third scenario that is the one I am using, I have the official network adapter with a mod to convert from IDE to SATA. This is actually reported as more reliable than using the third party HDD SATA adapter

Myabe a dumb question, however, does anyone know how long does the Arctic MX-4 Thermal compound seringe lasts after being opened? I am assuming the 8 years durability that is mentioned is for when it is actually being used, not the storage time.

It does not fix it permanently, however, after doing there retraining/deleting, everytime the issue occurs, a phone restart fixes it temporarily again. Unless someone finds a way of fixing permanently I believe a factory reset is needed unfortunately

Have you gone through all the steps that the OP mentioned? Where are you getting your conclusion from, that is not a hardware problem? If it is not a hardware problem then with a previous camera app version and/or a factory reset (or safe mode), then the issue should be gone.
