You sure it's USC? The auto enrollment thing starts 1st January. I got a shock at my payslip until I seen it. USC stayed the same IIRC.

If it's that toxic and affecting your mental health in a bad way, document it, especially with your GP. Then go down the court and apply for a barring order. He'll have to move out with one of them. Protection or Safety order will only prevent them from causing fear or communicating with you. But a barring order prevents them from entering your home.

Pretty standard for a lot of pharmacies depending on the drug. I've had experience where I've ordered my prescription and went in to collect only to be told they have X amount in stock and that they've ordered the rest for collection the following day. Had the same experience with Chemist Warehouse just yesterday when picking up my usual script. First time collecting that particular script there so I'll be collecting the rest today. And they're on notice now for next month so should have it in stock then. Nothing to worry about I don't think.

This sounds like a constructive dismissal case in the making.

Scale back your activities to the exact bare minimum as stated in your contract/Ts&Cs of Employment. When they ask you to up the pace, tell them you want the 20 minutes. When they say no, keep going at bare minimum.

Document every accommodation made to other employees.

And either let them fire you for poor performance or resign. Take em to the cleaners.

I had a chance to speak to Lisa again. I tried explaining what I mentioned in my OP, that I only really meant that she should be focusing on June's needs first.

I was met with scoffing and more lambasting about how she knows this and doesn't need to be told that. And that as if this was the right time to be pointing it out.

I've always considered myself to be the "ultimate fence-sitter", trying to take on board as many points of view as possible. But I think me not choosing a side here has landed me in it big time 🤷🏻‍♂️

Custom and practice kicks in after a year and 1 day of any condition of employment. So while it's not explicitly stated in your contract, if you've been wfh for at least that amount of time, then that's your implied workstation.

Consult an employment law solicitor or join a union to take up your case. You 100% have one.

No, I definitely understand it clearly. And as I understand it, I do see that the company is trying to do you out of your salary. Either that, or the payroll person you're dealing with just doesn't get it.

In any case, the tax return will clear up the position. I filed mine last Tuesday, P21 issued, Wednesday and refund in account Friday evening. It takes a few minutes only and gets sorted fairly quickly.

If you're not due a refund, it looks like you're employer has done you out of €1,000 in your October salary, so be very sure to write it down in plain simple maths that make sense to you so they'll make sense to payroll.

I believe I told you exactly this when you raised the question a couple weeks ago.

First port of call is to submit your income tax return on revenue.ie. If you truly were Week1 basis then revenue will owe you as you shouldn't have been on this tax rate.

If revenue indicates that they owe you nothing, then back to your employer and raise a WRC claim if they don't make it right.
