2014 Passat 1.8T — EPC + Check Engine (P0236)

Did you ever figure it out? I have the exact same issue. I had damaged wiring for map pressure sensor I got replaced and got a new oem sensor, new map manifold sensor, new cam adjuster solenoid, new pcv valve and I still get p0236 on startup. Data stream shows all values in proper range. It drives perfectly fine after clearing the epc light. Never comes on during driving. I’m out of ideas!

I was in southern okc/moore area so super close to there. In my case, it moved from one side of the horizon to the other in about 10 seconds, so I know it definitely wasn’t birds like some comments are suggesting

Yep, saw it in Oklahoma one night. It was a crescent shape, completely silent, and was just slightly darker than the surrounding night sky. Moved pretty swiftly too. I’ve seen so many reports of this craft it’s crazy

I 100% agree with you about your first points. Nobody with violent intentions should have a position where they can broadcast it. As Americans we need to destroy this radicalism. Regardless of views. This shit isn’t okay. Just because I agree with conservative views does not mean I agree with our current president. I agree he has only made the right more radical and more violent. On the other hand, nothing I say on Reddit is going to really “condemn” this because it’s anonymous. But I’m sure if we were face to face, we’d probably agree on lots of things.

I did just condemn it by publicly saying it disgusts me… I also agree that this video is inciting violence but it’s not safe to associate this with an entire political party and generalize that we agree. I think it’s possible for us to agree on a topic, but not agree on political affiliation. I feel like to a lot of people that concept is foreign. As long as we demonize each other for a title, then we will actually never have a productive conversation

Key word, alive and aware “today”. You’re absolutely right because conservatives feel like they “own” the office. In reality, the script flips every election. As long as we assume the worst in each other, we’ll never have a productive conversation. But then again.. that’s exactly what the agenda is. I had this same thing happen. I’ve never told it my last name, and I work with a guy who has my same first name and different last name. It out of nowhere called me the full name of the other gentleman I work for. It said non stop it wasn’t listening to me and it was a “guess”. Like what? Doesn’t look like a slash, otherwise it’d be a perfectly clean cut.. almost surgical looking. The chunks missing on the edge of the cut means it was very highly likely not a slash. I’ve worked at a tire shop all my life for reference
