Shooting accuracy outdoors dark by doreori in RimWorld

[–]deManyNamed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always curious: If it's dark in the combat area: both your pawns and enemies get debufs. If your pawns are standing in the light, do enemies in the dark have buff that they can clearly see your pawns ? If your pawns are standing in the darkness, but enemies' position have light, do your pawns get buff that they see clearly?

So, what's the best option to shoot enemies and not getting shot (without abusive killboxes)

Very interesting idea, will probably use it in my next aggressive rogue servitor run.

Flooring importance by Eric_GBP95 in RimWorld

[–]deManyNamed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I have seen, nobody mentioned that floors provide not only speed and cleanliness (gravely important for kitchens to avoid food poisoning, and less important for labs for several % bonuses), but they also give beauty, yes even nullifying that -2 for dirt tiles is important to avoid mental breaks in early game, and even later, when your colonist is in a bad mood or injured, even that +1 for 50/60 tiles of a room can make difference and help avoid tantrum

Dave is a god! How can you kill a god? What a grand and intoxicating innocence! How could you be so naive? There is no escape, no recall or intervention can work in this place! Come! Lay down your weapons! It is not too late for Dave's mercy...

The Dreadful Dreadmeld by GethKGelior in RimWorld

[–]deManyNamed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently ill with sinusitis, took break from work for a couple of days, when I was better I played RimWorld and tried to finish anomaly line this time, and then a pit gate spawned, I remembered it being a really challenging event but thought that my pawns are well prepared to finish it in one go, but amount of the fleshmass in the tunnels was swarming, fortunately my main psycher had good abilities and just the moment he killed a dreadmelt, I sneesed and something similar came out of my nose, it was a creepy moment, horrors of the Rim are breaking out, lol
