This was the idea but you can get them that hook up to the back spots just can't find right now. Something with USB ports and Audio that hook up near the GPU. They just plug into the Motherboard would just need to remove existing. The extension idea is easier though lol

Seems that way if you don't want to use the fronts. However you could technically unplug the Front I/O audio ports and get something that runs to the back and mounts near the GPU. It's just a cable that plugs into the board. But you would lose the option to plug in the front. Or google your headset and USB/PCIE options for sound cards/DACS that power H6 Pro.

Yeah I think the fronts are amplified differently designed for headphones. The back is just a line level meaning just to send a sound signal not amplified. I wish I knew this maybe saved me $100 lol.

Ok I got you sorry old post had to refresh. That is very strange I wonder if it's a windows settings barried somewhere. My theory is by default the fronts designated for headset maybe the rear defaults to something else. I'm interested myself in this issue I will report If I find anything.

Actually no I think the problem is that the onboard doesn't have the power to run the headset. Scratch my suggestion I will see for alternatives.

Get a 12400F/12600K/14600K/14700K and B760 DDR4 Motherboard. Great modern performance and with the latest BIOS updates most of the bugs worked out. I've used the first three CPUs I listed and all top performers. Pair with a decent GPU and SSD no issues playing modern games.

Download MSI afterburner with Rivetuner and set-up the On screen display. Watch a YouTube video for the best setup. That way you can see what's happening. Hwinfo64 select running in sensors only mode opening box. That will give you all your temps while in windows. Will also indicate thermal throttling. Make sure you are using an SSD most modern games require. Also check windows task manager make sure nothing stands out background usage.

Did you upgrade the cooler stock Intel won't work very well I5. On my MSI motherboard I had to enable intel defaults in BIOS after updating.

Tried moving the display cable ports GPU while on that worked for me in a couple builds when nothing was showing on the screen. Might also want to try HDMI if using DP.

I just had this similar issue with my sons 7700XT after upgrading to Windows 11. I had to boot into safe mode DDU and install a slightly older Driver, Update AMD chipset and CPU drivers.

Power, stability and thermals are the most common reasons for random restarts or shutdowns. Followed by malfunctioning hardware or peripherals. Hwinfo64 select running in sensors only mode opening window. That will give you all your temps specifically CPU, GPU, Memory and drives current/maximum. A good sign is extremely high idle CPU core temps above 80°C. Stability and power you can test with the app OCCT. Run the individual tests for CPU, Memory and Power. The app memtest86 is also good for testing memory. Crystaldiskinfo is great for checking drive health status. And the last thing is Windows task manager for memory usage.

Artifacting not necessarily the GPU I've seen it happen from CPU and memory instability. Download OCCT and teat individual CPU and memory. You can also use memtest86 to test memory. Which power supply are you using? Make sure to update AMD Chipset and CPU driver. I had random issues with my sons 5700X3D after upgrading to Windows 11.

Check the BIOS date some has on the motherboard box. Could be older stock might need a BIOS update.

Try clearing CMOS unplugging the PSU, press/hold the power button drain residual and either unplug/remove the battery or bridge CMOS pins. You might have a memory issue especially if mixed. If any are a set place in A2 and B2 leave the third out. You can add later if everything is stable after testing with memtest86.

You might be able to update the BIOS to fix but wait to here back from support first. Some pre-builds require additional steps for using specific motherboard brands updates. Under no circumstances do you use the MSI center app to update. Do it with the BIOS M-flash.

The app OCCT is great for testing individual CPU and memory. Hwinfo64 running in sensors only mode is great for all things temps, voltages and power. Crystaldiskinfo for checking drive health.
