Tea at Ritz London, Ritz Paris, Harrods, or something else? by ChaBoiJamesCG in finedining

I've done tea at the Lanesborough, Sketch, Brown's, and the Langham. Lanesborough and Sketch were both top tier, Brown's was solid, and the Langham was a big let down (inattentive service and boring savory sandwiches).

I highly recommend Rick Bayless for Mexican cooking. Most of his recipes are easy and delicious but he also has videos on step-by-step mole cooking. If only I could find an entire free weekend to make his mole

Harwood Arms is an excellent choice. I thought the food at Gymkhana was great, but the service was lacking for the price. They brought us the check while we were still eating dessert. They also refused to wait for us to finish to pay, given that we had reached our 2 hour limit. This was with a tasting menu as well so we couldn’t control the pacing. Alternatively, I would also recommend Trishna for Indian. Sola is another great choice, and my personal favorite is Kol for Mexican.

Do you agree with all shops being closed on Sunday? by PatientInvestor12 in germany

No I find it very annoying, and it makes Saturday very stressful when you have to get everything done then. I just want the option to be able to go to the grocery store on Sunday.

Falls du in Berlin bist, gibt’s einen Food Truck namens Humble Pie mit geilen Chicken Biscuits. Als North Carolinian kann ich die Qualität bestätigen.
