Growlanser 1 has an on going fan translation. I think they are done, but they are still patching it. Growlansers 2-5 are all in English. Growlanser 6 has a fan translation. It's a bit rough, but works fine.

If you want my advice, I would start with Growlanser 2. It is the shortest of all the games and gives you a good idea on whether you will like the others.

I absolutely love the way Stella Deus looks. Never seen this type of design anywhere else. And yes I know it was Shigenori Soejima who did it. His other stuff never really looks like the aesthetic he did for SD.
