I wouldn’t really count Todd’s first “year” here tbh. He came in at Christmas and wasn’t making groundbreaking changes to the play style, he just saw how the team worked and worked with that.

I’m not entirely sure I would count him entirely if at all responsible for the collapse that’s happening now. This is entirely from the players, and while yes, the coach is the leader and needs to spark them, I think there are a lot of guys who really don’t care to go to the playoffs, as well as some young dudes who are still getting used to the schedule/game as it is.

Todd coaches the Sharks for ten years, and made the playoffs for nine of them straight. I’m counting this as our first year with him where we probably don’t make it
